Hotel Florence, Bellagio

Hotel Florence is a beautiful hotel on the shores of Lake Como. Try to get a room with a view of the lake, it is well worth it. The rooms are large, very clean and with unique furnishings. There is a veranda in the front of the hotel overlooking the lake or walk across the street and sit under large shade trees to sip your wine. Servers from the hotel will come and bring you drinks and food. I was there 2 years ago and I'm going back next fall.

The people in this hotel were very freindly the hotel is quaint and the view from our room was spectacular, other than that I wouldn't recommend staying there. During the summer months as the hotel doesn't have air conditioning, also unfortunately we experienced an awful sewer smell and we couldn't figure out where it was coming from and if you closed the windows you took care of the smell but you would suffocate from the heat. It would be a better place to stay in the cooler months as long as they can take care of the odors.
