Super 3STAR+ Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/17/07
I stayed in this Best western in Galway and whilst it not located in the city centre itself it only a 5 minute drive away. The room was very modern and cosy and in my room there was free wireless internet access to boot! The service in both the restaurant and bar is second to none- the staff are very friendly (a rare thing these days), speak excellent english, lot of Irish staff, another rare thing!!!!! and always seem smiling even when it is busy. Would highy recommend this hotel, excellent value for money - excellent on all other fronts too!!!!

Will be staying agian soon
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/8/06
I travel to Galway about 6 times a year on business and always stay at Flanney's. I discovered it when i could not get into my previously used hotel and have stayed ever since. Its a good value mid range hotel that has everything I need. Its comfortable and clean, some of the rooms are fitting of a higher grade hotel. I have an internet Connection ,a good breakfast and courteous staff. There is always enough parking space and its so easy to find coming in from the main routes. The only thing that i cant vouch for is the restaurant as i always head for Mcdonaughs fish downtown, its great.Galway is a pleasant town, the old street from Eyre square is very nice and if you like a spot of toe tapping Taffe's bart is the place to go. The Hotel is a litte way out of the centre so a bus / taxi is required, the bus stop is just across the road and its only €1.30 to Eyre. So all in all Falnnerys is a goos hotel.

excellent value
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/13/05
This hotel was an excellent choice for a short family break. We were travelling with our three children and were keen to be accomodated together in the one room. This was not a problem for the hotel who provided us with a family room that suited our needs. Two nights with breakfast for the five of us cost less than 300 Euros. The rooms were clean and the breakfasts were delicious. Frankies bar also served good food at a very reasonable price. The hotel is no more than a five minute drive from the city centre and even without a car buses run every 20 minutes. We would definately return here if we were to visit Galway again.

Anniversary break
By siobhan, 8/3/05
When we arrived at the hotel we were very tired after travelling from Wexford and being at the races all afternoon. The girl on reception was very pleasant and we had a good feeling about the place immediately. She booked us in and explained everything to us. We went up to the room and it was very comfortable and clean. We were very happy with it. We went down to the bar and ordered food. The staff were very pleasant and the food was beautiful. The second night we had food in the dining room and this was excelent at a very reasonable cost. I will highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
