Treff Hotel Alpina, Garmisch-Partenkirchen

The most important thing to understand about this guesthouse is that the staff believe that nothing is too hard to accomplish. I arrived there on a cold rainy night as a walk in with no reservations. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left the next day I felt like I had come to visit good friends. I never felt like I was a problem for the staff or that I was not some kind of German celebrity getting special treatment. I have never been to such a place that had a great staff like this one. Well done!!! und besten dank! I will always ask to stay there when visiting Garmisch-Partenkirchen. WLG

The Alpina is warm and inviting. It has charm and sophistication. The roooms are very nice. The food is excellent and plentiful. Location is great, right near town. The staff is most accommodating, nothing is too much trouble. I highly recommend this hotel and I can't wait to go back.

THIS HOTEL NEEDS TO GO BACK TO THE WAY IT used to be "CLEAN". We love the Beauty Farm. Adina who runs it is absolutly delightful and knows her field ,also the waiters especially Patrick are very helpful and friendly.Hope this hotel will go back to its former standards.

This hotel was very close/10-min walk from the train station. It was walking distance to shopping, nice restaurants (even though they had their own 1ST Class on-site meals), the post office, laundromat, hairdressers, and great views of alps to see daily and for walking in, nearby. Nice location to stay for their on-site facilities, pool, health spa (Beauty Farm)fitness equipment -&- Sauna. I was able to find a Special Rate between the summer/winter seasons in early November and was able to book on-line, use credit cards (bank-&-AMEX); I found the young, some in-training staff to be most helpful, friendly and willing to assist in any way with local directions, etc.
