Scandic Tampere City, Tampere

I travel to Tampere several times a year and typically stay at the Sokos a couple blocks away. Last time, I stayed at the newly renovated Scandic and now it's my preference when staying in Tampere. Located close to the rail station, it's convenient for those coming from Helsinki by train. In the middle of the city, you're walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The rooms are well lit and bright, important during the short winter days. The wireless Internet connection was strong. A nice breakfast buffet was included in the room price as is standard in Europe with most full service hotels. On top of all this, it's cheaper than the Sokos.
