This five-star hotel is within walking distance of the Botanical Gardens. The rooms are all very spacious and there also are rooms for non-smokers. Delicious meals are served in Rue Royale. There is also a cocktail bar where you can enjoy a nice drink. The hotel can easily be reached by train, bus or car.

Given the astronomical rate one would expect a perfect experience. However, there were several drawbacks: - there is perfume in the airconditioning. It caused many allergic reactions and sneezing during our conference. Staff admitted there was perfume, but denied it could be the cause of allergies "Because I am allergic and I have no trouble". - I was positively surprized to be able to use my Ipod. However I was instructed to turn the volume up to 70 for the best result. The volume could only be turned up to 60 and my music was not more then a whisper. - Water pressure in the shower was very low. It was a drizzle.( I was at the 7th floor) - Staff seemed uninterested in solving my complaints. Staff at the bar was great though.

stayed here last x-mas it's immaculte and so luxurious beautiful views over looking the city 10 minute walk 2 city centre and close 2 all other ammenites @ x-mas the view is lovely great hotel and not 2 dear

Great Hotel with Great Location

I stayed here for a week in October 2005, the rooms are huge and clean. The service is great and it is a 10 minute walk to the center of the city. Most rooms have great views of the city and it is located near some great lunch spots and bakeries that are very cheap and have great fresh food. Plus it is next to the Botanique (gardens, tram and metro stop) The staff will happily suggest things to do, give dirctions and help with train schedules. It ia great reasonably priced place to stay.
