Zum Hirschen Hotel, Zell am See

This hotel is the best in Zell am See. The rooms are are big as austrian standards, staff are very friendly, food is superb, the best you will ever eat & central to all amenties!

we are just back from a holiday in Zellam See where we stayed in the Zum Hirshen. Went for skiing snow did not oblige, still all had a great time. some even got to ski in the magnificent mountains. I unfortunately came a cropper on the first day and had to call it a day. The hotel staff could not have been kinder to me. I wish especially to thank Jasmine the waitress who looked after us, a total of six adults and two children. As a coeliac I had notified the hotel previous to my arrival. The kitchen were excellent, making sure that my food was totally gluten free. We found all staff really friendly, happy to help and when at times the poor receptionist was hounded by my questions, she still smiled and was patient.I have to say that the atmosphere in the hotel was one of homliness, not the usual sterile hotel atmosphere. The food was excellent resulting in which the waist bands expanded. The rooms were very comfortalble great sizes. We are already planning a return trip to the Zum Hirschen. Eliza.
