plan on going back

my wife and i went to couples in ocho rios for our honeymoon a year ago and we had a great time. the staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and the view was simply amazing from the balcany...there were plenty of things to do - snorkeling and the dunn's river falls tour are a must for anyone going and are included in the package..the landscape around the resort is beautiful and has a very peaceful ambiance to it...the lobby is open on both end with the cool carribean breeze blowing through all the time...scuba diving is available although we didnt do it because the instruction classes are a bit long.....the food and food service was also fantastic with plenty of dining options to choose from...the drinks and bar staff were fantastic with lots of tropical drinks to choose from as well as local beers...there is a bus that will take you to jimmy buffets margaritaville and into town, just stay with the group you came with and you shouldnt have to worry about any of the locals trying to sell stuff to you....the weather was somewhat eratic in the early part of november, raining off and on for the first few days, but other than that the experience was well worth every penny we paid...and if you are planning on going, dont be shy about visiting the au naturel island, the resort is couples only, mostly everyone there is either on their honeymoon or anniversary, and its not likely that you will ever see any of those people again, so have a few drinks and take the short boat ride to the private island - lose all your inhibitions and relax in the pool - its got a swim up bar and everyone we met on the island was very friendly and laid back - they arent sitting out there staring at each other...its definitely something that you will want to experience while you are there, to at least say you did it...we were hesitant about going to the island and waited until the last day to go, but we're both glad we did, it was a very peaceful and relaxing afternoon...we will definitely be going back to jamaica for our 5th anniversary but we will probably go to one of the other couples resorts, just to see a different part of the island...
