Excellent

Resort is newly remodeled. One of the best resorts I have ever been too. Friendly staff. Plenty of room on the beach with crystal clear water and white sand.

TERRIBLE! Dont waste your money!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/4/10
The rooms were disgusting! Stains on the floors, Old furniture and TVs, terrible customer service, and walls were so thin you could hear everything in the room next door. Ruined our entire anniversary trip. Next year we will be going back and paying extra to stay at the Hyatt. Dont waste your money here!

A great family vacation! We'll be back!
By Shannon, 5/1/10
Friendly staff, very clean rooms, refrigerator upon request. Excellent for families with kids. Never had a problem getting a shady spot on the beach or by the pool. We loved the calm, shallow water; you can relax and watch the kids from your lounge chair whiile they swim and dig in the sand. The lizards are harmless, the exotic birds beautiful (make sure you get a family picture posing with the birds on your shoulders..check activities calendar for bird interaction times) and rooms above average and clean. The kids a lot of fun watching the lizards..one even swam in the pool with them. We were there in July, and the resort was not crowded at all. The weekends seem a bit busier on the beach, and the only solicitors were women asking if my daughters wanted their hair braided. No one was threatening or shady. We ate at Gilligan's for breakfast; excellent food, but like all restaurants on the island, a bit expensive. Expect to pay $50 for breakfast and lunch unless you want to walk to McDonald's, Wendy's, etc...both affordable and close by. We had no problems with panhandlers, time-share salesmen, etc. The streets are VERY safe and you are able to walk around at night. Most dinners in the area will run a family of four about $100. Some a bit cheaper, like Salt and Pepper, across the street from the Radisson and a nice place with good burgers. If you want a relaxing vacation directly on a clean, safe beach, this is the place! The island of Aruba is a desert island, and not very pretty, but this area has been designed as a tourist attraction and is definitely a tropical escape!

Very Disappointing
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/30/09
We just got back yesterday from Aruba and stayed at the Radisson. I read all of these reviews before going and thought that we were going to a great hotel but it was awful. Our first room was so musty we couldn't stand in there for 5 minutes. The staff even knew about this and moved us to the "nice rooms" in which we looked over a roof. The bathroom ceiling tiles were dirty or mold was hanging from them, we were not sure of which. We didn't want to keep moving rooms so we stayed. The furniture was old and scratched up. The restaurants were not nice and pricey. The beach is nice and staff is nice but this is about it. It is in major need of an upgrade, which is what all of the guests said that we talked to. It is in fact one of the most out of date hotels on this beach. Don't waste your time, money, or vacation staying here until they upgrade. We walked into about 6 other hotels to make sure that we were not being critical and trust me, we were correct in thinking that the place was not what we thought that it would be. In fact I wrote them and the company that we booked through first thing this morning to express our disappointment. Go to the Marriott if you want to have a kitchen or the Riu if you want an All inclusive.

Paradise
By K and C, 4/14/09
We spent our honeymoon at the Radisson and loved every minute! The hotel was very clean and the grounds were amazingly beautiful! We had great service, too. Of all the hotels along Palm Beach, it seemed to be the least crowded, too which was wonderful! We spent 5 minutes every afternoon reserving our beach hut for the following day, and always ended up within the first two rows. The beach was fabulous!!! We enjoyed a couples massage in the gorgeous spa... and had a wonderful vacation. We will definitely go back to Aruba and the Radisson!

THE BEST PLACE EVER
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/3/09
STAFF was friendly, rooms clean, managers handle any problem-if you have one. SUNSET GRILLE was perfect three times we went..but do expect to pay for perfection-it is romantic and excellent food and service. The gardens, water falls, birds, pools and spa are 4 star quality. I could have lived without the roaming lizards around the grounds and pool. We would go back to this hotel

Nice, Not great
By Ron Avallone, 9/7/07
Beach and gardens are beautiful. Room was too small and did not have a closet. Overall, staff was courteous and very friendly. The phone card machine in the lobby is useless as you cannot use these cards from this hotel so I used the lobby pay phone with a credit card to call home and every call cost me over $40 !!!

paradise
By NICHOLAS LEWITZ, 8/6/07
We love the place and the raddison fits our needs. It is just perfect for my husband and my needs. We love room 1417 or room 1418. The only bad thing is the way to get a beach hut. It does waste time in the afternoon. do not know a better way.

Dining
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/13/07
We have been coming to Aruba for 14 yrs,we have never sent a meal back,we ate with friends at the Sunset Grill.Big mistake!OVERPRICED.$8 for mashed potatoes..Had to send my prime rib back looked like something you would feed Fred in the Flintstones and not tasty at all, they exchanged for filet migon,no taste at all,I didnt eat that either. Thanks for the desserts on the house, our hats off to the pastry chef. But remember for the next diner, the desserts were not bad, it was the steak you should have not charged for the steaks. I have time share on the Iland and I will not give a good review.Your dinner manager gave a very poor explanation of why...He or the chef should try the CHEFS TABLES ,new on the Iland, now thats a steak ,$31 so outstanding and its not just my opinion, the beach is a buzz with the service and menu. Yours Truly The Ungano Family
