Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort, Nassau

I had read before hand that some guest were unhappy with the staff's attitude - what an injustice to this friendly, more than accommodating staff! The entire staff smiles and tries to make everyone happy - even some of the guests that are never happy with anything! I was a little disappointed that our room was not ready when we arrived and that we had to wait and it still wasn't ready until nearly 5:00 pm but it appears that the only problem is the cleaning staff. They are slow and not as thorough as I would like. They will come and re-do if needed but I wish that things were done in the first place. I will most definitely return - again and again!

Awesome Beaches, fun pool, excellent food and service, love the decor - completely redone and only getting better. Spa will be built soon and gym area also being built. I plan to be back and enjoy all the new amenities that Sheraton Cable Beach has to offer.

This was the best experience I have ever had at a hotel! I traveled with my college roommate and we are both 24. The hotel had families, people our age, and couples of all ages. It is really perfect for any age. To start off, it was spotless! We were amazed. The cleaning staff would sponge the walls and vaccuum the hallways daily! Our rooms were also completely spotless and smelled so good after coming in from the beach. The staff was SOO nice. Everyone said hi and smiled ranging from the door men, the cleaning staff, to the pool people. The hotel had 3 pools and 2 jacuzzis. The heated pool had a swim up bar. There was a DJ there during the day which was fun, but if you wanted seclusion you could go to a different pool. There was also the beach a few steps away which was beautiful and peaceful. The ONE complaint I have is that the restaurants are really expensive. But, that's the Carribbean for you. We went over to Atlantis, and the prices were OUTRAGEOUS. So, I guess the Sheraton's aren't as bad as they could be. Also, if you get a cab you can go to some delicious local restaurants that are only about 5-10 minutes away. I HIGHLY recommend this place. The rooms are great, the people are great, and it is the Bahamas! We were originally supposed to stay at the Wyndham, and this place was SOO much better overall. I cannot WAIT to go back and get away from the cold up here!!

I got married on the beach right in front of the Wyndham last July 7th. Thirty-six of my guests stayed at the Sheraton and it was an amazing trip. The people are very friendly and everyone is helpful. The service at the restaurants was a little slow, but the food was worth the wait. The golf course is in perfect shape and pretty challenging. The bars all around the grounds are tremendous. We were taken care of every day at the pool and every night at the hotel bar. Even gratuity is included, so there are no worries. The only money I spent was next door at the casino. I did stay here once before and didn't go all-inclusive. It was very expensive for food. Take the package and take full advantage of it. We hada great time.

Always wrong and unauthorized charges. Location couldn't be worse - no shuttle to the city. Cabs are $20 each way. No internet (I was shocked to find that out). If you want to leave your bags for few hours after you check out, you have to pay separately. Overall: i would stay away from this hotel.

I thought this hotel was great. The rooms were new and nice. The veiw was breath taking. It has 2 nice pools. One with an ever so handy swim up bar. Go all inclusive if you can and you get the most for your dollar. Everything from food to drinks is obsurdly expensive. Service was fair at best.Gratuities are included in everything. If you don't add a little extra service comes slow.

Food was awesome. I probably gained over 10 lbs on this trip. Overall, good price for what you get, the rooms were recently remodelled and the hotel has a modern appeal to it now.

Hotel Appearance: This hotel was absolutely horrible for me. Firstly, they are doing some renovations and refurnishing. At night you can clearly hear then which made it absolutely horrible. There is only 1 elevator working everyday. Dining: The food in the hotel is VERY EXPENSIVE and very bad quality. I suggest to anyone who is reading this to get food from outside of the hotel. (Bahamian restaurants and grills) (IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO GO TO THIS HOTEL, I SUGGEST YOU DON'T YOU ARE WASTING YOUR MONEY)

I got married at the end of September 2007, but I had booked my honeymoon trip since last 2006 December to stay at the then Raddison. The travel agent didn't tell us that the hotel would have been changeing ownership nor that it would have been under renovation. When we arrived, we spent the first day in, but decided to explore the second day. Unfortunately for us, out of the six days we spent there, it rained for four days, one day it rained non stop. So with all the rain we had to stay in. With all the renovations going on at the hotel and the adjacent hotels, there were no entertainment. We didn't receive the complimentary bottle of champaign which was specified in our travel package. There were only two restaurants to choose from. There is also a eating facility at the pool, but the menu is also limited. The finished part of the facility was beautiful, the pools which were accessible were well kept. There were not too many guests so the facility wasn't overcrowded. The staff was very friendly, the best day of our trip was the last day when we were able to spend a few hours at the bar by beach. I think we should be offered a return trip to really enjoy our honeymoon and be treated like newly weds and receive the amenities which was specified in our package.

We stayed at the Sheraton Cable Beach and the only bad thing was there are only 2 restaurants and they were expensive. One was a buffet restaurant and one was Italian. It didn't quite fit the area. The hotel is beautiful, The rooms were new, clean, and the view and location were awesome. I would highly recommend the Sheraton. The staff was wonderful, overall. The grounds were well kept, pools were nice and the ocean is just gorgeous.
