Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort, Nassau

Likes- good service, friendly staff, one super Italian restaurant Dislike- Mediocre food in other restaurants, too pricey for what it offers, hidden costs attached to final bill adds up to $80 per day!

All inclusive is worth the extra as prices are expensive all around town unless you are into Burger King. Also if you are a drinker the drinkers are $8 and up so all inclusive saves you there. Staff was great. Very nice and friendly. Room was great and they cleaned every day with no worrys. Close proximity to Casino was convenient. Only complaints are they run a bit understaffed so sometimes service was slow. Went late November and the pool and ocean were a little cold. Make reservations at the Italian Restaurant-food very good,

We just got back from the Bahamas and stayed at the Sheraton Cable Beach Resort, the people are truly amazing!! So friendly and not just in the resort, on the street, the beach, in there yards, it really made our trip. The only thing the hotel really needs to improve is there breakfast, we did not go all inclusive, so you ordered off the menu, very limited we were told after 3 days that you can go to the continental for toast and fruit. If you went all inclusive it's either order off the menu,(which I said is limited) or continental breakfast. The Black Angus restaurant was THE BEST, the Italian so, so. We ate out mostly & had a great time with the locals. Best place to eat Compass Point only 10 mins. from the Sheraton. We would go back!!!

We had a group of seven women. Did the all inclusive. which was a good deal considering the prices. The food was very disappointing. The people were not very friendly at all. Our two favorite people there was Norma and Patrick.. They were great. It is a beautiful resort. So, I would recomment it to others, but do the all inclusive due to the cost of everything in Nassa.

Well i went to Atlantis resort and the shereton cable beach resort. Both places are great. if your looking for peace and quite but can still have fun when you want to then the shereton hotel is the place for you. Going all inclusive at shereton was the best thing anyone could do. the food was expensive but because we went inclusive we didnt drop a pennie on the food. at the shereton there was snorkeling, jet skis, parasiling, bannana boat rides, and a lot of other things to. I must say there is not much to dislike about this hotel. Atlantis was very nice to. the hotel was very big and beutifully arcutectured inside. although nice inside it was very very crowded. if you have small kids in my opinion they can get lost easily because its so big and there are a lot pools. other than the over crowdedness the place was very nice the slides were fun the aquariums were fun to. so many diff. varrieties of fish. another thing to about atlantis is that the price to stay there is outrageous. sheratons price was not too too bad. sheraton was about 6k for 7 nights for 4 people. atlantis was i tihnk if i recall almost double if not a little more than that. i tihnk it ended up after the meals and stuff to be close to 15k. overall i give the sheraton a five start and atlantis a four star.

Booked thur orbitz and pre paid as required. Which we believed was the full amount due. We were surprised with a 200 bill at check out. The charges were for bell hop, housekeeping, and resort fees. The service was good. The rooms stayed clean. We just didn't like the surprise bill. The food there is pricey and they have odd hours. 15% gratuity is added to everything. The beach and pools are top notch couldn't ask for anything better in that department. Was able to book water activities right on the beach. Beware of buying anything on the beach most of the items sold there will be cheaper elsewhere and better quality. Also the best time to travel to downtown is around the bus hours. You can get on the bus in front of the hotel and get downtown for a dollar per person vs about 15 dollars by taxi. If your going to Atlantis a ferry runs from downtown for 3 dollars vs 15 dollars plus toll. As for shopping you can wheel and deal in most local shops. We enjoyed eating out in town vs at the hotel. You got to check out Senor Frogs for food and drinks. The Hard Rock has the best restrooms in downtown. When we go back again we will look into the Hilton (Downtown) or Atlantis instead.. but Wydham had good food and bars. Enjoy

I recently returned from my 24th trip to Nassau in as many years - have not stayed at the newly renovated Sheraton Cable Beach Hotel before so it was a great treat to discover this wonderful hotel. The beach is magnificent, the rooms are beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, and the employees were 100% helpful and friendly. It is located centrally on Cable Beach with easy access to downtown and other restaurants in the general area. I loved it and I'll be back next year. Loyal Customer, Omaha, Nebraska

The Hotel was renivated which was a good thing. It a little far from downtown and atlantis. There's not many places to eat plus all the buffet there sucks and it $35 per person and they serve hamberger and hotdog. There's a $30 fee for each room service which they wont tell you till check out. The location is a bit boring its better to pay extra for the Atlantis Hotel. No WIFi. No Fitness Center. No Tennis Court.

We spent 4 days in April 2008 in sheraton cable beach. Hotel was not as impressive as I would have expected. It was clean, people were nice though. Unfortunately the weather was cold and we had to spent most of our time in the heated pool, which was quite small and dirty as it was right next to the pool bar. Everything you buy in the hotel is available for half price outside of the hotel. Only thing I can complain about is the promotions done at the entrance of the casino and right outside of the hotel. If somebody approaches you and tells you that they are going to offer you free lunch, 50$ check and free t-shirts just for listening to them, runaway!! They will try to sell you vacation time offered by Royal Clubs (or holidays-don't remember the exact name) and if you say no to them, they will get nasty and start insulting you. So if you don't want to ruin your holiday just stay away from them. We certainly learned it in a hard way that nothing is free..

The staff was super friendly, went out of their way to accomodate us in everything. Very clean and well maintained. Can't wait to go back and visit the friends we made with the staff!!!!
