Hotel Palacio Azteca, Libertad

The place was nice for its price, but the front desk was kinda of rude. We had booked 5 rooms in the non smoking area (7th floor) executive single rooms in which 4 where only available.They advised me at that point that they could not promise me the 5th room on the 7th floor. She said we had booked too many rooms ( I thought that was a pretty dumb remark). I mean isn't it a good thing to give them business. Anyways the 5th room was on the 3rd floor (unacceptable when you have a group of people on the 7th floor and someone has to stay behind alone on the 3rd).By the way the 5th room was available a couple hours later. Those rooms are a little bit smaller and they charged us the same rate as executive single. They never once apologized to us. What I did notice is that they gave all the flight attendants, pilots alot of attention greeted them with kisses on their cheeks (i'm sure they are regulars) but they should treat everyone the same. There was a specific lady (unfortunately didnt get her name) might have been the manager she was the one that was rude. Anyways everyone else was nice. I really doubt that I would stay here again and thats only because of that incident but thats all it takes!

I THINK IS THE BEST HOTEL IN TOWN, THE STAF IS VERY FRIENDLY, THE ROOMS ARE GOOD SIZE, AND VERY CLEAN. THE FOOD IS GOOD.

Clean, comfortable, family friendly, great staff that make you feel special whenever you're in the hotel. The hotel has taxi's that work just for them outside at all times, which is handy since you never know when you want to go somewhere and who likes to wait. The last time I was a guest one of the drivers took me shopping, dropped me off at a great restaurant and then took my items BACK to the hotel and left them at the front desk! What great service! I'm a hotel owner myself and I say this give the property an A+ in my book!! Also, I was traveling alone with my sister and we felt no threat walking in the neighborhood during the day. Great little beauty shop around the corner too.

Everyone was extremely nice and accommodating. It was wonderful. I will stay there again when I return to Tijuana.

My stay here was far from ok. My door would not lock and was not fixed even after reporting it to the front desk. The electricity in my room, at one point, stopped working. The staff was not friendly at all (the concept of smiling seem to elude them). The "DO NOT DISTURB" sign on my door was ignored and the place iself was so-so. Their in-house restaurant, however, served excellent food. So there you go.

The views are great, easily accessable to "Revolution Ave".

They are always very courteous and professional. It seems like it might be the hotel of choice for the airlines, since every time that I have stayed there, I see pilots and stewerdesses either checking in, or checking out. Very neat, and very clean.
