Hotel Lucerna Tijuana, Tijuana

We were booked here by someone else, so I read all the reviews I could find before coming. The place was nice, though older, with a great relaxed atmosphere. Even the maids were friendly, the staff was very helpful and professional. By far the best thing was being high up on the balcony over the pool/courtyard area, with a view of the whole town, glorious weather for January. Only downside was the fact that there was no air conditioning turned on, since it was winter, though it actually got warm in our room. They did offer to bring up an electric fan. Very convenient location for our needs, The restaurant in the hotel was good for breakfast, having a good buffet, and ladies two for one specials. Definitely would go back, request the same room!

Alonzo is a good and friendly bellmen but he is not a tour arranger. He arranged a tour to Rosarta for us and charged us $150.00 for a bilingual guide and 5 personal stops. What we got was: a driver with 2 English lessons and ended up with a horrible horrible experience. My advise is book all tours through the hotel, that way you have some paper work and recourse if the tour is crappy. Alonzo over charged and did not provide the tour promised and once the monies gone it's gone. Learn from our mistakes, we did not book with a reputable tour company or through the hotel. This was our learning experience.

From the moment we arrived, the entire staff was very attentive and professional. They greet you by name, and are very welcoming. Clean, great food, great customer service and a beautiful building makes this an excellent place to stay when you're in town.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel everyone was very curtious and friendly. excellent food excellent hotel there personel were excellent there bar has excellent drinks best margaritas in town, there pool is great the cleaning personel are excellent. they even had one of there emplyees bring up a complementary dish with delicous candys.

At the end of this month will be my fourth stay at the Lacerna Hotel,I'm looking forward to my next trip,the employee's at the Lacerna are wonderful,they bend over backwards to make your stay comfortable,the food and room service is all you could ask for.I'm looking forward to my next trip. zona

Service is great, excellent food, great employee. I love staying at the hotel, I wish they had transportation to and from the airport.
