The squeeky wheel...

We arrived at the hotel and were told that the a/c was broken and they didn't have a room for us, but that they would send us to a different hotel for the night, and then check us in the next day. We were not happy with this because of tours we had booked for the next morning early, and we had no idea what to do with our luggage. Finally we agreed to allow them to store our luggage for us, which meant we had to be up even earlier to repack, get a taxi and then go back to the Flamingo. That night, we called and complained to Expedia.com which is who we booked the room through, and they called the hotel repeatedly on our behalf in reference to our room and luggage arrangements. When we returned to the hotel after our tours, we found that they had given us the best room in the house, a suite with a full kitchen and two balconies. We were very pleased, needless to say! The beach is beautiful, the staff friendly and helpful, my only real complaint is that the massage area overlooks the pool and was noisy because they were having stick horse races. We only ate at the hotel once, (not great), and I highly recommend the other restaurants across the street and the mall across the street for shopping. We had a great time all in all.
