Spectacular anniversary stay
By ,
Everything here was perfect from the white SUV they picked us up in at the airport with facetowels and mineral water to the champagne at check-in to the beachfront room with patio that was steps to the gorgeous warm ocean filled with tropical fish. Service was attentive and polite. Rooms are large and decorated in a warm, understated way.Beds are a little stiff. The buffet breakfast is excellent and includes some local items as well as typical American breakfast fare. For snorklers, there is no need to leave the grounds. The coral reef off the beach is home to plenty of colorful underwater creatures. For scuba, one has only to contact Scuba Du on the premises to arrange a trip. Although we did not use the new spa, the couples massage we had on the beach was the ultimate in luxurious relaxation. Overall, one of the friendliest, most beautiful vacations you can imagine!

A must every year
By ,
My three daughters love Cozumel. We have been 8 years in a row. We only stay at the Presidente. Such a lovely hotel. The people remember us. The girls won't stay anywhere else. Everything is very convenient, right on the premises. This makes it very kid friendly.

Cozumel for life!!!!!
By ,
I have been going to the El Presidente for several years now and have always enjoyed my stay. The food is the best I have ever had in a hotel and is some of the best on the island. Room service caters to your every whim. The beaches are beautiful and becuase the resort is small not very crowded. The water is crystal clear and they have a beautiful reef to scuba and snorkle. The staff at the resort is extremely nice and has always treated us like royalty. San Miguel is just a short taxi ride away. I like this island and my experience at the El Presidente so much it is the place I would like to eventually retire to.

Looking forward to our next trip
By ,
My husband and I have been to Cozumel several times due to both business and pleasure. We have also been to most of the tourist destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean. This hotel is our favorite and we keep coming back. The beach at the hotel is beautiful with all types of colorful fish to look at. The only hotel I've stayed at where you can snorkel at your hotel without going anywhere. The food is great and they now offer a free breakfast buffet which is wonderful! We have actually paid more money to stay in all-inclusive spots where the food was terrible and you had little choice about what you ate (not my idea of a vacation). The staff is very friendly and make you feel welcome. There are only a few "nice" hotels on the island and most of them are a 15 to 20 min. taxi ride if you want to go downtown. This hotel is only 5 min. Which makes it the only hotel on the beach that is close to downtown. Several hotel are close to the beach but not on it. We have paid 2 to 3 times as much to stay at different hotels in exotic places and can't beat the value here. Be sure to get an ocean view room if the budget allows.

See you there in the spring
By ,
Spent our Thanksgiving holiday there. They even had a turkey dinner on Thanksgiving day. Alfredo's the new addtion, complimented the existing restaurant which offered a great breakfast. The water which was great it allowed swimming, snorkeling scuba diving right there at the hotel. I understand that the GM Alan Carrette, whom did an excellent job, is leaving but I am sure that the great service will continue.

nice hotel
By ,
I was a little disappointed I thought for sure when I made my reservation it was for an all-inclusive rate. In fact I e mailed the hotel and asked what was the european rate, they told me with out meals included. So I made sure I let them know I wanted all-inclusive, I'm not sure what happened. Linda

Outstanding
By ,
My family and I had a wonderful time this past July. We went for July 4th weekend and we will be back to visit again. The weather was gorgeous and the employees from the Presidente InterContinental were extremly nice as well as helpful. This hotel was like nothing we have ever seen. We were extremly satisfied with everything involved.

Magnificent serivice and reasonable luxury
By ,
Stayed here between Christmas and New Year's and everything was great. Rooms are a bit spartenly furnished which we liked, very beautiful balcony views and service was outstanding. Not too much to at the resort itself other than tennis, swim and scuba, so plan on a car rental or taking plenty of taxis for the ten minute trip to town. Booking directly with the resort saved us hundreds of dollars vs going through travel agents.

enjoy.
