IT'S ANOTHER EXPERIENCE
By hannah, 10/6/06
the moment we stepped in i felt like the people around are busy but they seem all to know what they are about to. I mean they all looked they meant business. Since i was in a tour group we had no problem checking-in be cause our tour guide was the one who arranged us in. The hotel is of moderate amenities compared to the hotels in las vegas.i think we booked an economy accomodation. The room was homey, it feels like i was at home. The workers were very efficient and helpful and easy to approach or they approach you first. I left few items in our room but i got them all back. Thanks to honest room service. I like that hotel

Best starting point for a Toronto vacation
By Go Pens!, 5/17/05
The central location of this hotel combined with its direct connection to the vast underground walkways that honeycomb downtown Toronto make this an ideal winter vacation destination. The rooms are spacious and provide great views of the city. The indoor/outdoor pool area complete with large hot tubs is the perfect way to unwind after a day seeing the city.

I loved it because of the views as I sat looking out of the window. I could not give any complaints.

Mixed Review
By CHS Class Of '78, 12/24/08
I got a good rate on the Internet so I took advantage of it. The staff was mixed. Bartender was French and seemed to have a attitude towards Americans. Didn't speak much English and didn't want to converse much about anything. Beer, local hot spots, whatever. Every time I ordered a drink he printed out my tab and gave it to me to pay. I guess I looked like i couldn't pay. At other bars in Toronto when I offered to pay every round they looked at me strange so I guess it was the Sheraton. Disappointing since at other bars like the Four Points Sheraton in Savanna the bar tender was superb, conversational and offered tips on good places to eat in town. The staff was professional as one would expect. They corrected a phone call error on my part and I was grateful. The computer lounge was $$$ per hour but useful. The only problem I observed was a striking lady shadowing me with a gentleman nearby. Swinging her leg and giving me that look I could only surmise she was either a undercover Toronto finest officer or a very expensive lady of the night. Either way she was a unwelcome distraction. The parking staff was not knowledgeable about local good spots to dine or entertain. The conicere was helpful in finding out some information for me. Thanks. The room was clean and decent. Overall I would have to rate my stay at Hilton's and the Four Points above this Sheraton. If you can get a discount it's worth it.

Fantastic Hotel in Downtown Toronto
By A and J Agulnek, 6/27/06
The lobby was spacious and nicely decorated with a couple of good restaurants (somehow I got free breakfast buffet tickets when I checked in). I have booked this hotel 2 times through Hotwire and both times paid ~$70 US per night - an unbelievable value considering the direct-booking price of ~$180 US per night.

Gorgeous View, But A Bit Nightmare-ish
By Current Hawk, 8/15/11
I liked the view from the window in the room I was in. It overlooked the CN Tower, which lights up every night every hour on the hour from dusk until 2 AM. The pool was clean, and the pool water was warm. I disliked the job housekeeping and the hotel management did and the hot tub and pool toys. The hot tub's jets weren't working like they should be, which made the hot tub water a bit cloudy. The pool toys they had for kids were very worn and faded. There were issues with my room almost every day I was there. First, there wasn't enough towels for my whole family. Then, the drain in the bath tub drained way too slow. We notified both the hotel management and housekeeping and were promised it would be taken care of right away (it wasn't). I finally got extra towels. I had to fix the poorly-draining bath tub drain myself (it was clogged with a huge wad of shampoo-covered hair and the drain stopper was held on with what looked like denture putty). Then, the maid did a poor job cleaning the bathroom and left the hair from the drain sitting in the trash can in the bathroom. To top that all off, there were a bunch of young men drinking and partying in the room next door (they were all underage). After asking the young men next door to please quiet down repeatedly and talking with the head of housekeeping and the hotel management, they finally were given one night for free. Some of the tickets the concierge people sold were a bit pricey for what the tickets and activities they were for were actually worth. It was a nightmare, even though the view was gorgeous!

it's the best hotel i have been too
By ghumibhear, 11/15/04
I went with my college for the weekend and it was great. We went in the dead of winter. The city was clean. The underground mall was the best. The cn tower wasn't far off and we were walking distance to a skating rink.

Excellent
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/16/11
This hotel was amazing. It was my first time in Toronto and it was an amazing experience. The room was a nice size, very clean, and the staff was great. The restaurants in the Hotel are also very nice. The parking situation was not great but I expected it to be hectic in downtown Toronto. Will definitely stay here when we go back.
