Good place-good price
The Festival Inn is a clean, well maintained motel with easy access to downtown Stratford. The rooms are sound, if a bit dated by US standards, and the facilities are neat and clean. The major drawback is that the restaurant in the hotel is not terribly good--breakfast is not included in the room rate, either--and this means you will probably want to go out, even for breakfast. However, any negatives are offset by the price. Stratford is a relatively expensive place to stay, due to the Shakespearean attractions, and there are no international chain hotels. The Festival Inn is about 1/3 less in price than any other decently appointed hotel or motel, and this makes it my choice when I visit.
