Coral Resort, Niagara Falls

this hotel is in very need of update.,wallpaper is coming off,rooms are dirty,staff not helpful,we checked in and out with in 15 mins,

Agreed-NOTHING good to say about this hotel! Two days BEFORE we even arrived they charged my debit card over TWICE the amount of my entire stay and I had to go to my bank to have it taken care of after repeated calls to Ramada. We were promised adjoining rooms which we needed for our children and instead were put in 2 separate smoking rooms which were filthy and smelly! The mattresses were like plywood and the next morning housekeeping consisted of fresh towels and emptying only one of the trash cans-the beds weren't touched nor were the bathrooms. After complaining they did send someone to clean but they left dirty coffee cups and didn't refill coffee supplies. When we checked out they tried to charge us an extra $50.00 which they did take off after I brought it to their attention. As soon as I got home, I checked my bank account and they AGAIN charged an EXTRA $400.00 on my debit card...so as I write this, we are still arguing about this charge. Honestly, although the staff was nice, they didn't have a clue what they were doing and nobody was ever in charge. Parking is horrible and building is not secure. Probably the worst hotel we have ever stayed in.

Unfortuatly there is nothing nice to say about this hotel,check in was 3 hrs late without apology, the in room internet didn't work and after reporting it no one came or called (even though the desk said they would), housekeeping walked in and out of the room 3 differant times without knocking or apologising (once on my wife as she was getting out of the shower) ,the floors were dirty and as a topper they made a mistake and checked us out early and told us all our bags ,passports etc. had been removed and that they may be in the housekeeping room and when I finally complained the hotel manager told me to go stay somewhere else (there were no other decent named hotels available at the time) as it was a budget hotel and laughed at me. I hope and pray you overlook this hotel in Niagara and stay elsewhere.

If you stay here expect to take the bus to the falls every day (cost 3.50 one way or 6 for pass). Walking takes about an hour.

The hotel was nice and the personal was helpful and attentive. The only surprise we had with the experience was the extremely high taxes incured when going anywhere in Canada.
