Filthy rooms, rude staff
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/19/09
My wife and I were in the area for a conference. We arrived at 4pm, and the concierge took 30 minutes to check us in and then cleaning staff made us wait for 15 minutes outside the room before they would let us in. We think the check-in was buying time. When we got in the room, it smelled strongly like smoke (it was non-smoking), had stains and garbage on the floor, the amenities were not refilled, and the beds were partially made, but wrinkled and looked like the linens were not fresh. The staff were extremely rude when we asked for more shampoo and clean drinking cups, and when we mentioned the trash on the floor and messy beds the cleaning lady replied "No way, you're lying" and proceeded to walk away. To top it off, the restaurant service was pitiful and the food was sloppy and not well prepared. I will not be returning!

No Hot Water
By Fred Mertz, 3/29/08
The Hotel needs to spend some money on their hot water system. Hotel is definitely not geared up for high occupancy. Waited for 3 hours, still no hot water.

A horrid hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/20/07
I was most disappointed when I checked in to discover rude desk clerks and a generally unclean room. There is a damp smell in the rooms and the furnishings are old. You can tell that this hotel's owners don't really care about the property as it is very run down. I would not recommend this to anyone at all.

Avoid this Ghost building
By Jamil, 8/27/06
We had all went bad with the hotel. I booked this through Yahoo travel (two double bed Air-conditioned, etc.). It was shown as three stars. On arrival, the manager totally denied that I had reservation. He wanted the booking number. I went to car and bring them the confirmation print with booking number. He was very rude and didn't want to give me room on that booking. We didn't have choice we re-paid higher price for the same room. When we went to the room, I found, no double bed, room was very ugly, and very smelly. A place not renovated for decades. No Air condition. I call the reception, their answer was, "Windows can open". For the 2nd bed they said sofa can become bed. I decided I cannot stay ther for any more second. I inform the reception and left hotel. Then I called my credit card as well as yahoo to get refund on the amount charged. I would strongly recommend to avoid the place.

Air or privacy
By Lin, 7/17/05
The lobby is nice. But it does go downhill from there. We had one key to the room for four of us. But no problem. The windows did not lock and you could climb through them- on the main level. The air conditioner was located in the centre window. You could leave the drapes open with no privacy but cool air OR you could have privacy and no air. There was free parking if you could find any. They hold dances on the weekend and they take most of the parking spots. Guests are forced to manoever into corners and hope for the best. The balconies are rusting. The bathroom did not have an operational fan. If there was a free newspaper as advertised, we did not find it. We would NOT recommend this one.
