Pacific Palisades Hotel, Vancouver

The only thing i would suggest to you guys is making sure you book it online at SweetHotelDeals. N e t I did a bunch of searching for hotel prices, and that site seems to have the lowest prices all around

My friend and I stayed here for one night in March 2009 and we loved our hotel rooom. Beds comfy super, clean and quiet. tThe front desk staff was very helpful. My initial res was for a lower floor room and they had put me on the 14th. When I mentioned this they changed it right away. The complimentry wine was a nice touch when you arrive tired and thirsty. Nice to say in a hotel that looks exactly as represented on the internet. Bravo!

Nice place, walking distance to waterfront and Stanley Park. Clean and well appointed. Comfy beds. Friendly staff, close to restaurants, c-stores. There is an AWESOME French restaurant just a block or so up from the Bayshore Westin. 5 star dining without breaking the bank. Get an upper floor, awesome night view!

I stayed at the Pacific Palisades Hotel while attending an event in support of the charity "Dress for Success". Not only did I shop at the silent auction at the event hosted by the hotel but I shopped on Robson Street and found the perfect party dress. As a regular business traveler there are many amenities at the hotel I appreciate. The easy access to shops, complimentary high speed internet service, hosted evening wine reception in the hotel's art gallery, the simple, quick and inexpensive spa services, the fabulous onsite restaurant, "Zin" and the incredibly attentive staff. I will definitely stay here again. I will definately stay here again.

the rooms were nice and tidy.i liked how the couch folded dwn for an eztra bed! there is an excellent view from the balcony and the poool is great for swimming =D

- Awesome Location in downtown Vancouver - Feels like home... almost (the comforter is warm and cozy) - Great pool (am only sad about being injured and not using it during my stay) - It has a point of view... - Small Plates and bartenders at Zin I am glad I believed the reviews and stayed here

Hotel in central location in fabulous Vancouver. However, Robson Street has too many down and outs to feel completely comfortable. We had room on top floor away from Robson Street in September 2006. Room was excellent, very large with good views. Disappointing about complete lack of breakfast. However, overall good. Pity about the food. BarryS

Katharine Manson, the media associate was wonderful. Our room was perfect with a gorgeous view of the Vancouver skyline and surrounding water. The room was spacious and included free internet service. Thank you Katherine, we'll be back! -T. Rothwell & A. Brewer

When I eat out, travel, shop, etc, the question of value boils down to "Did I get what I paid for?" With that said, I often wonder if I went to the same place that some others visiting the same hotel, restaurant or attraction went to. Pacific Palisades was great! Bed was very comfortable. Room (suite with separate bedroom) was very spacious. Great view and great price relative to cities of similar size and caliber. The bright colors, the big balcony, the very pleasant chambermaids and front desk staff made for an enjoyable stay that I will be repeating soon. ZIN, the restaurant had delicious food and excellent bartenders and waitstaff. Pacific Palisades wasn't Four Seasons nor Fairmont-like in it's style, it's more laow key and laid back than that (thank goodness) but it also wasn't $300+ per night. I was very pleased, got more than I paid for, and will be back.
