Lousy service

I have stayed at the Executive House on a number of accasions (including family members probably 50 nights) over the past 3 years. For some reason the service has deteriorated to a level that is unacceptable. Victoria is well-known for superior service and the night staff at the Executive House must have been imported becasue they are neither helpful nor welcoming.
The hotel has the advantage plus disadvantage of being centrally located. Good it you want to be close to the city - bad if you want to sleep - especially if you have a room overlooking Douglas Street.
I asked for a room away from the street and was told they had none! They never offererd any assistance - or even asked if I wanted to pay for a better room. I had checked in after 9.00 pm so they made a sale to me they probably would not have expected to make and they could not have cared less.
I will certainly never go back - there are enough hotels that do care in Victoria.
