Definitely not stay here again.
Air conditioner did NOT work even though maintenance came in a few times and assured us it was working "just fine". They gave us excuses like "have to keep the door closed" (it was - the entire time except when we stepped out on the balcony for brief moments), "have to keep the drapes closed" (they were except for one day), "can't have anything in front of the equipment" (suitcases were not blocking the air conditioner except for one brief period of time - right before the maintenance man came up for the 3rd time). The living room stayed too hot to sleep for both 2 nights we were there. The bathroom was poorly stocked (missing facecloths and hand towels) and the kitchen was missing vital items, such as a pot to cook with, among many other items. As if that wasn't enough my daughter's iPod Touch went missing. We looked everywhere (all 4 of us) and even gave the hotel the benefit of the doubt and asked that they carefully check their laundry to see if it got tangled up with the sheets. Nothing. We wrote quite a lengthy letter to the manager which we left with the front desk clerk when we checked out. Nobody got back to us. I gave three phone numbers (one being my cell) and still didn't get any messages. I stayed here a couple of years ago when I was undergoing chemo for cancer treatments, got the medical rate, and had an issue with the heat (it didn't work and we froze the entire night - maintenance kept assuring us everything was "just fine"). We wrote a letter to the manager at that time too, and never did get a response. Now I gave them another chance. That's it - no more chances. It is a "budget hotel" and the prices should reflect this. Supposedly, this last time (Aug), we got a "deal" but it wasn't much of a deal anyway, and definitely no deal at all considering we got far less than what we were being charged for.
