Travelodge Rawlins, Rawlins

The rooms are very dirty, the front desk could hardly speek english. The free breakfast was day old donuts. When you came in from a days work all you smelled was the cooking of bad food. In my 14 day stay the room was not cleaned properly. The sheets were not ckanged at all. WOULD NOT HAVE ANYONE I KNOW STAY THERE.

We paid the outrageous rate because other motels appeared unsafe. Our room was sub-standard, the sink leaked, and the bathroom was NEVER cleaned during our 26 day stay. Hotel employees are rude, barging into the room dispite DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door. Even with the night lock engaged, and the DO NOT DISTURB sign posted, they Knocked and Knocked awakened and went to the door to tell them DO NOT DISTURB. This was the morning routine every day for a week. I still don't know what they needed in the room, cause they sure never cleaned it. Bed was uncomfortable, sheets short, and breakfast was disgusting, day old donut holes! NEVER AGAIN

I have to disagree with the reviewer who said these are the cleanest rooms in Rawlins, interesting that his name is the same as the people who run this dump. This motel is poorly maintained, hallways had garbage lying in them, carpets were stained and windows had smudges all over. The room was scary the sheets and towels had holes in them, sink and counter was dirty, and the toilet seat was cracked and broken at the hinges black smudges on the walls . We did not even try the breakfast, we just wanted to leave as soon as we could.

We had planned to spend the night in Rock Springs WY but couldn't find accomodations. We went on to Rawlins and were referred to Econo Lodge. The beds were comfortable, but we had to climb a dark stairway full of trash cans of beer bottles, liquor bottles and other debris. The carpets looked dirty and the air conditioner was old and loud. Housekeeping was pounding on our door very early the next morning, although checkout was 11 a.m. We were charged $215 for one night. Better have advance reservations and confirmation for this one!

I was traveling across the US from east coast to west coast, and Rawlings being one of the 4 places I stopped in, I had a so-so experience with Travelodge. It wasn't the worst, but not the best. Maybe because I got there around mid-night, I found the staff not so friendly like the other reviewer experienced. I didn't have time to eat breakfast so I don't know about that. I think they are pretty much the same as other budget hotels that provide breakfast. The location is great, right on I-80. I didn't find anything to complain about the rooms though. I think the bathroom was clean.

I wanted to try the Travelodge because the other reviews made it sound great, but they were wrong. The carpet in the room was not clean and overall the room looked like a cheep hotel, which it was not. The continental breakfast did not provide much so we decided to eat out, which we never do at a hotel that provided breakfast. One positive, the people were very friendly and helpful.

the free continental breakfast is very good, free u.s.a. today news paper, in room coffee maker, I like the nice and friendly staff.the room is very clean and quiet.the motel has very large parking for my truck.the room is very large with work desk.
