Ramada Plaza Hotel Green Bay, Green Bay

We live in Appleton and thought it would be fun to take our kids to a water park nearby. When we went to the pool the first night there were not any towels in the pool area the whole time we were there. There was so much chlorine in the pool my daughter cried all night about how her eyes stung. My suit, both of my daughter's suits and my husband’s suits are ruined. All are a complete different color. My suit was navy blue and is now brown, my daughter’s was red and is now pink, my husband wore a blue shirt in the pool and it is now purple!! We will definitely not return and will be calling the manager about our dissatisfaction. If it would let me I would rate it zero stars!

We had a certificate for $50 for 2 nights. Even at that price, I feel we paid way too much! The lobby is very nice, I suppose that's how they lure you in. We live less than 10 miles from this hotel but thought it would be nice for a little get away with the kids. The room that we were given was such a dive, we ended up not even staying there! It was very old and rundown, not even anything on the walls. The carpet was very stained and disgusting, with cigarette burns in it. The beds were made very sloppy. The cleanliness of everything was definitely questionable- including the waterpark. There was SO MUCH chlorine in the the pools that it burned our eyes just standing in the pool area, before even getting in the water. Once in the water, when my face was splashed it actually stung my skin. You know it's bad when the lifeguards who are just sitting there are passing around the bottle of eye drops. Our son who LOVES water actually wanted to leave because his eyes were so red and hurt so bad. I WOULD NOT recommend this hotel! Oh yea, and when we first arrived, there were 2 other guests (not together) at the front desk complaining about their stay. I don't know what their complaints were, but that many unsatisfied guests has to tell you something. From what we saw, the man behind the counter was unable/willing to rectify the first complaint and told the guest that if she didn't leave the desk that she would be removed from the hotel. Poor customer service? Again, I don't know the specifics so can't fully judge based on that.

I was in town for the LZ Lambeau, a celebration for Vietnam Vets. I have a PTSD service dog the staff couldn't have been more respectful and kind. A lot of vets came on motorcycles and were allowed to park them under the front canopy. Every time I'm in Green Bay, I am staying here. Mike MacDonald, Minneapolis

They are extremely unorganized! Some of the staff was even rude to our guests! There is not enough room here for me to voice my displeasure! Heed my warning...

We had a wonderful stay!!! What a find....kids were busy in the waterpark, playing WII, watching movies, everything was covered. The adults had a blast in Big D's and believe it or not, the waterpark! Ha ha, made us feel like kids again. I highly recommend, we were lucky to find it and will be returning.

I have stayed at many hotels in Green Bay and the Ramada Plaza is by far the best. Great staff, service and entertainment. The water park is great for the kids, Big D's is great for adults. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The Staff was friendly and very helpful, however, the check in time was more than a half hour. The long lines and mobs of people in the lobby were terrible. There were also so many families with small kids staying here during our stay, that we did not make too much use of the "waterpark" area. My son is 14 and he just found it irritating. We had to have the hotel staff throw about 20 people out of the pool area for the after 10 pm adults only swim time. The hotel common areas and rooms were clean, but unless I was staying with small children I wouldn't go here again.

Great buffet style free breakfast. 2 for 1 drinks at the bar. Not bad. I had an A/C problem they gladly moved me to a differant room. Friendly staff.

I loved everything about this place. The staff was excellent. Check in and check out were very quick. Van drivers were very friendly and knowledgable. Would definitly return. The on site restaurant was very good as well

We had our wedding at the Ramada in Green Bay, WI. Everything was good in the beginning, but by the end they found every way to screw you. I wouldn't suggest this place for a wedding to anyone I want to still be friends with.
