Horrible service
On January 2, 2008, we brought our vehicle to your facility for airport parking while we went on a family vacation. The advertisements for this parking state that you provide a secured lot. We have used your service in the past and were always placed in a secured lot. However, on the morning of the 2nd, we were not put in the usual lot. When we asked the driver of the shuttle to put us in the secured lot, she refused, despite the fact that the lot was only half full. Due to time constraints with our scheduled flight, we allowed our vehicle to be parked in your regular lot. Less than 12 hours later, we were called by your facility and told that our vehicle was broken into. We were at Disney World at the time, enjoying what was supposed to be our family's dream vacation.
During our vacation, our family and friends took it upon themselves to help us out - calling the police, making reports, driving more than 90 minutes each way to retrieve our car, arranging a limousine. They did all of this, of course while keeping in contact with us throughout the process. What did your hotel do? The night manager on duty when they came, refused to answer basic questions needed for the police report, such as what time the damage was found, were any other vehicles damaged, etc. The manager just continuously told them that this isn't your hotel's problem.
While we appreciate the phone call informing us about our vehicle that was broken into, we are concerned about the fact that your hotel did not provide us with the advertised security and then displayed a very callous attitude about our situation.
