Clarion Hotel Airport, Milwaukee

I checked in late and the staff could not have been any better. They were friendly, and very helpful. I would not stay at any other Milwaukee hotel. The rooms we of a five star hotel

On January 2, 2008, we brought our vehicle to your facility for airport parking while we went on a family vacation. The advertisements for this parking state that you provide a secured lot. We have used your service in the past and were always placed in a secured lot. However, on the morning of the 2nd, we were not put in the usual lot. When we asked the driver of the shuttle to put us in the secured lot, she refused, despite the fact that the lot was only half full. Due to time constraints with our scheduled flight, we allowed our vehicle to be parked in your regular lot. Less than 12 hours later, we were called by your facility and told that our vehicle was broken into. We were at Disney World at the time, enjoying what was supposed to be our family's dream vacation. During our vacation, our family and friends took it upon themselves to help us out - calling the police, making reports, driving more than 90 minutes each way to retrieve our car, arranging a limousine. They did all of this, of course while keeping in contact with us throughout the process. What did your hotel do? The night manager on duty when they came, refused to answer basic questions needed for the police report, such as what time the damage was found, were any other vehicles damaged, etc. The manager just continuously told them that this isn't your hotel's problem. While we appreciate the phone call informing us about our vehicle that was broken into, we are concerned about the fact that your hotel did not provide us with the advertised security and then displayed a very callous attitude about our situation.

This hotel is dirty, the front desk staff is rude (PAT!!!), and the rooms are disgusting. They offer donuts in the morning--that is about the only good thing about this place. The restaurant is overpriced and serves bland food, the rooms are dirty, beds are uncomfortable, and the place needs some MAJOR updating. Enjoy your stay down the street at the Sheraton Four Points if you need to come to MKE and be close to the airport. You can Priceline a room at the Four Points pretty reasonably... and even if you had to pay $20 extra per night to stay at the Four Points vs. the Clarion---it's worth every penny! This place is disgusting.

The location is great. However, the extremely rude staff and the overpriced, bland food in the restaurant make this hotel a poor choice. There are much better properties along Howell Ave by the airport. The rooms need updating.

Clarion Hotel is nothing more than a basic place to stay. Nothing exceptional nothing shined about this hotel. Tiny rooms, small bathroom sink area so you could not leave anything out to use later, beds were so bad that each am we awoke with back aches. The continental breakfast is minimum, in comparison to other hotels in the area. We travel to Milwaukee yearly and have stayed in other hotels close by. We have stayed at the Hotel Clarion in Reno years ago and had a positive experience, but very dissapointed at Milwaukee Clarion. The service people were outstanding, the room was clean, and the easy access was excellent, but the comfort was poor and the room was nothing more than average.

since it is the best in the county I would say...... I LOVE THE CLARION HOTEL!

My buddy stayed on the 2nd floor close to checkin and had a so, so night. I was on the 3rd and slept like a log.
