We stayed there because of the very positive review that was writing earlier. I was disappointed. We arrived around midnight and had to speak through the intercom. I expected a voice to say, "Yes, may I help you?" Instead there was a voice saying, "What do you want?" I answered, "A room." He answered, "Do you have a reservation?" I did. Maybe it's because I am from the South and used to more Southern hospitality. At 6:00 a.m. I went to the front desk to request a shuttle to the airport so I could pick up our tickets for our afternoon flight. I was chastised for not making a reservation earlier. I told him I came in at midnight and THAT is what I was trying to do NOW, request the shuttle. He again responded, "Well, you have to request the shuttle ahead of time." I repeated that that was what I was trying to do. After some difficulty we set the shuttle time at 7:00. The shuttle came a 7:30. I suspect the person who wrote the earlier positive review was an employee or was smoking fumes from the shuttle. In the review the writer said the rooms were "awesome." We found the rooms were clean and adequate for the price, but in no way "awesome." The exercise room consisted of one treadmill and one bike in a small room walled with mirrors so it looked like there were numerous machines in a large room. That is not what I would call "state of the art" as mentioned in the earlier positive review. The rest of the staff members were very business-like, which is acceptable. The previous reviewer said they were "cheerful and considerate." No elevator so you have to take your luggage up the stairs if you are on the second floor. It is close to the airport and the prices are reasonable. It is not that our stay was that terrible. The only reason I am writing the report is because the previous reviewer said things that were not true, based on our experience.
