Just keep driving...
I stayed the Best Western in Summersville on 11/25/06. Pets are allowed, but you are required to stay in a smoking room. You could smell the smoke even before the door was opened. Once inside, it was unbearable. (A trip to Wal-Mart for some Frebreeze helped, but the next day all of clothes smelled like smoke.) I complained to the front and was advised that it was company policy for pets to stay in smoking rooms and yes, they stink. The carpet in the room was stained, the vents on the heating/air unit were broken, towels were thin and frayed on the ends, the room was dimly lit, toilet paper holder was thin rusted metal, and an empty candy wrapper was found under the edge of the bed. The "hearty breakfast" mentioned on the website consisted of frozen waffles, frozen egg shape, cold biscuits, gravy, and a microwave to heat everything up yourself. I will never stay at this place again.
