Travelodge Everett Broadway, Everett

If it were at all possible to leave negative stars, I would. We booked the room with the intention of 2 people staying. Last minute, one of our friends came on the trip with us. When we checked in, the manager saw there were 3 in our group and didn't say anything. We went to the event we were in town for and walked back to our room around 10:00 pm. As we walk passed the manager's office, he came running out screaming at us that we only booked for 2, not 3. We asked if there was another room available for our friend. He said no. We asked if we could pay an extra charge for him to stay in our room. Again no. He kept yelling that we were trying to screw him over and he has put up with people trying to "pull a fast one" on him for 14 years and he won't accept it. We told him to calm down we would could come to a solution. We told him that our friend would just look for another hotel in the area to stay in. He, still yelling, told us he was going to call the cops. He got on his phone (as we're packing up everything because we certainly we're going to stay there any more) and begins describing our vehicle to whoever he called, presumably the police. We did absolutely nothing wrong and are fighting tooth and nail to get a refund.

I took my buddy and his girlfriend to Everett for her birthday. We checked in at 2pm and then came back at 10pm. Before we could even get to the room the manager mike came out yelling at us that there is only two people to a room. The room only had one bed, and I was not going to sleep on their dirty floor. I was just going to go up to the room hang out, eat and go home. So as he is freaking out I just tell him I don't want any problems and that I will just leave. As I'm getting in my car he calls the police and makes a report. So if you want to be treated like you are trash come stay at king mikes travelodge. What made me mad is I'm a certified real estate appraiser, and I make over a $100K a year. So I don't need to try not pay for a room. I will tell everybody I know never to stay here. I have seen other reviews of people complaining about this place. Oh yes he even kicked my friend and his girl friend out. So thank you Mike for ruining my buddies girlfriend birthday.

I made the mistake of booking my room from internet photos alone which did not have any pics of the bathroom. The bathroom was so small that the door would not open all the way because the toilet was in the way. The shower was a stand-alone which did not have any delineation from the rest of the bathroom floor. The ugly yellow tiles were obviously covered in black mildew/mold. I had to lie a towel down on the ground just to feel okay to take a super-quick shower. Warning: The night staff does not remain on duty, even though the sign outside the office says "Pick up phone for night rooms" - it just rang and rang for me. Once I got ahold of an actual person on the Travelodge "help line", she was tremendously rude to me and even hung up on me! She lied about being the supervisor and actually said that I was "tying up the line" when she could be "helping other customers". It was 2:30 in the morning, I kind of doubted she had any other customers hanging on to speak to her. I left at 3 in the morning to go down the street to pay twice what it would have cost to stay at the Travelodge. Totally worth it!

My friend and I booked a hotel not knowing it would turn out to be the worst place in Everett. We walked for half an hour, found the Travelodge and asked if they had a room for us. They quickly let us see a room and we took it, went to check out of our other hotel and never looked back! The service was impecable, the owners very very friendly, and such adorable children! Thanks from the bottom of our hearts!
