Visitor unfamiliar with the area
We were in town for our niece's graduation from CNU and didn't know anything about the area, other than there were places that we were told not to stay.
When the University has a housing shortage for students, Pointe Plaza is where they send them to stay. That says a lot about the hotel management and the school--don't think that you're going to get a trashed out dorm room, because you're not. The school thinks enough of their students to send them to stay in a safe, clean place not too far from campus.
The staff was very nice; great room service at the same prices as the restaurant, not jacked up for the inconvenience of delivering it to your room. Good, hearty, breakfast for under $5. Allowed us a late check out to accomodate our airline departure time, and free shuttle service to the airport.
Close to shopping and restaurants; if wever in the area again, we would stay here without hesitation.
