Comfort Inn Conference Center, Richmond

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The lobby and my room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. The place looked like it was falling apart. I was actually afraid to walk from my car to the hotel for fear of mugging. PARK AT YOUR OWN RISK! The elevators rattled and shook like they were going to crash to the floor. There were stains on the room walls, ripped carpet, rotted out bathroom door that was painted over to "hide" the dammage, huge cracks in the shower tile, and rusted out pipes showing in the bathroom. This place is privately owned but I will be complaining to the Corporate offices. The owners of this place are not investing any money in the hotel. It is dilapidated and a very scary place to stay. I would have expected this from a $50 a night motel not a place that cost me over $80 with my AAA. You're safer sleeping in your car than in this hotel.

I stayed for a week and if you dare to enter the lobby during the early morning hours, you may encroach on the territory of some female business entrepreneurs. Let's just say, with all the boarded up businesses that surround the hotel, I suppose it is nice to see that one line of business is still going strong in the area. The quality of the rooms ranges from bad to worse, unusual stains and smells abound. Excitement may be offered through midnight firealarms. It is a budget place, but even if you are on a shoestring budget, you will find a better place - do not stay here.

This hotel is disgusting and horrible, I was bit by BEDBUGS and thanks to them I am traumitized! Not only do I want my money back, but I want them reported to the Dept. of Health.

There was nothing to like. It smelled, leaked, was dirty, and best of all, had BEDBUGS and lots of them. We fled at 3AM to sleep on a bare concrete floor at my empty apartment. Disgusting and disturbing. How is this passing the Board of Health or whatever compliance they report to? Totally gross and I let them know it.

I got bed bug bites all over my face, neck and right ear. I had huge bumps on my face and my right ear was significantly swollen. I had to go to the doctor immediately after my stay due to an illergic reaction to the bed bug bites. Beware

The service at the front desk was great, but the bathroom was not ok at all. The tub had mildew stains around it and the tile needed to be cleaned (of course we switched rooms) but for 79 bucks plus tax this was not what you would expect.

I WAS VERY UNPLEASED WITH THE SERVICCE I RECEIVED FROM THIS HOTEL. I ASK FOR A SMOKING ROOM AND I WAS GIVING A NON-SMOKING ROOM. THE AIR CONDITIONING WAS NOT WORKING . I WAS VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS SERVICE.

We stayed at your Comfort Inn and Conference Ctr on a Saturday night. We arrived rather late and the front desk woman was very professional and courteous. The room was immaculate!! Wide open space and nicely decorated. The bathroom was beautiful with marble counter tops and shower walls. The bed was the most comfy bed we have ever slept in that was not our own. The ample brightly lit parking spaces made us feel comfortable checking in so late. If we are ever in the area again, we more than likely will be staying with you again. Thank you so much!

opened window to get fresh air because room was too hot, no screen in window, I was on 6th floor. not enough pillows. (only 3 small)in king bed. no micro wave or refrigerator for a 3 day stay. Entire place was underconstruction. No pad or pencil by phone.lobby and food area was the nicest area in the entire place. Elevators way too small. coffee pot was not cleaned and towels were new, but not washed.

Didn't have a luggage cart for us to use, but that was just the beginning. Went to a non-smoking room, on a non-smoking floor that reeked of smoke, and the TV was blaring with the game and cigarettes and beer were on the floor. Went to complain and the staff blamed the computer while his buddy laughed at us and just gave us a different room. Went up to the new room and the card didn't work. Went to the lobby again and the guy said we went to the wrong room, and we pointed out that he wrote the wrong number down.
