Days Inn Fredericksburg South, Fredericksburg

I have traveled all over the country and have never come across a worse accomodation. The first room had a disgusting stain on the carpet that was still damp. The beds and bath had hairs allover. My sons room had unmade beds, beer bottles everywhere and a disgusting bathroom. Some guests had to go to the store to get toilet paper as none was available. The poor desk clerk was alone and on her own. Multiple calls by her to maintenance went unanswered. We left and went to a Clarion which was the opposite. We will never stay at a days inn again.

Over all the stay was quite pleasant. Beds were comfortable and I have only two slighly negative thing to say about the stay. The carpet was not vacuumed when we showed up and the picture is NOTHING like the rooms. They are just standard motel rooms one window a/c, two beds, table and two chairs like all motels, vanity and bathroom, tv, microwave and fridge. Also the internet was touch and go. On the whole, very pleasant stay.

I stayed here for some "me" time Great price, quite, friendly service, continential breakfast. Great location: on a main road with restuarants/gas stations A good place for families or singles. Money well spent-will visit again!!

Location was good. But PLEASE upgrade. Bathroom is very small. The shower needs upgraded terribly. The beds were comfortable, but the room smelled musty. No fridge, no iron. Just needs a whole new makeover, pool included.

It is OK...not nice...just a place to sleep. I had no problems with the service...they were polite and helpful. This is a BUDGET MOTEL

stayed here for one night on way home from fl. never again!cheap rate should have been my first clue- room old & dirty- questionable characters hanging around outside. stay somewhere-anywhere-else!

For those of you who found this dumb to be worthwhile, you must be gutter trash and live in a trailer park. The rooms were not fit for a cockroach and the pool was so sad it was funny.

Registration was fine with the experienced staff, a new girl however thought her mistakes were funny. The perimeter areas were littered with trash and beer bottles. The grout in the shower wall tiles were dirty with grime, as were the corners of the room. The AC worked but I felt not to it's full capacity, I suspect the filter/s were dirty. We wouldn't stay here again.

Loved the location, clean rooms and the price! The personnel were very courteous. A convenient 24 hour Waffle House Restaurant right around the corner and a 24 hour Wal-Mart nearby. Right off the I95 exit. Who could ask for more?

I should have listened to my gut. When I called for reservations, I thought I had dialed a highschool daycare office by mistake. I see why the place looks deserted on the picture. How hard is it to treat customers right and not act like a fool? Everything was a joke to them, including the turd left in the toliet that I'm sure one of them pinched while goofing off. I have never been so disgusted in all my life. If you guys want to make some money, I would suggest fire all of the incompetent people you have now and hire more customer loving people, or change this dump to a nudie bar. I would sleep in a cemetery naked before I sleep in a hole like this again; and not even then.
