Never again!

I get more and more disgusted every time I think about my stay! No money value can be placed on this hotel! But I must say that the bathroom was clean and the staff was very helpful and courteous on different occassions. I brought up a few items that needed immediate attention and hopeful everything was cleaned. Cobwebs and dust hanging off of the wallpaper border around the entire perimeter of the room. Writing and food (I think) smeared on the wall. Picture missing from wall. Patch of hole in wall where doorknob had gone through, falling off the wall. Two different sized harps on wall lamps situated side-by-side between the beds ... made the light fixtures look very shabby. These same light fixtures would not stay on unless you wiggled the switch. I didn't not even feel safe using these lamps. The patched windowsill was in dire need of replacement; the plaster was falling right off. No screen on the window. Sticky blotches, the size of a baseball, on the carpet. The walls are paper-thin. Hope you get a room off in a corner somewhere so you don't have to listen to your neighbors till all hours of the night. I was wrong for not bringing the desk clerk's attention to these items before checking out. Although when I did, she was very sincere and courteous about it all.
The "deluxe" continental breakfast is from 6am-9am. If, by chance, there is anything left at 7:30am, you're in luck. There was 'a' half-eaten donut in a box at 7:25am. A suggestion might be that if they are going to accept bus groups, they might arrange for their continental breakfast at a different location within the hotel. Make them feel special. That way there would be breakfast available for others in the motel as their bus group people were taking plates of whatever was for breakfast (don't really know ... didn't get any) onto their bus when they boarded their bus for a day of touring around 7:30am.
Renovations in 2004???? Hmmmm .... they need more.
