finish construction first
By cee cee, 4/16/12
just because you are under construction doesnt mean lets not vaccum or dust your rooms before your guest occupie them, being a smoker doesnt mean we dont like things to be nice as well my first visit to that location was really nice that is the reason why i made reservation online to stay again i would have stayed two nights but i could only digest one i hope things get better real soon

Shabby
First, the person at the front desk was very nice and plenty of good restaurants in the area. Other than that, I wouldn't recommend this place at all. The air conditioning didn't work worth a crap so we requested a change of rooms where the AC didn't work very much better. The walls were very thin. Water from air conditioner on the floor in second room. I'm not sure where the water came from because it wasn't a very good air conditioner. There were several holes in the wall and I think that was a large insect crushed against the wall in the bathroom. We didn't avail ourselves of the fine complimentary breakfast because we wanted to get the hell out of there.

Some Like it Hot, I Don't!
After driving in 100 degree heat without air conditioning working in car we looked forward to a cool room! Unfortunately the only reprieve we had was 80 degree air being pumped out of the A/C. The lady at the desk was very helpful and explained how to manually re-charge it. (Apparent that this is a common problem....) No dice after several attempts. We were able to move to the room next door but the lock on the door didn't work. It also had a sink that literally moved when touched, it didn't quite fit like it should. But the air worked, the air temp coming out of that a/c was 75 degrees and there was a puddle of water on the carpeting under the unit. All in all it was not a pleasant experience but after driving 500 miles we were too tired to complain.

Never again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/1/05
I get more and more disgusted every time I think about my stay! No money value can be placed on this hotel! But I must say that the bathroom was clean and the staff was very helpful and courteous on different occassions. I brought up a few items that needed immediate attention and hopeful everything was cleaned. Cobwebs and dust hanging off of the wallpaper border around the entire perimeter of the room. Writing and food (I think) smeared on the wall. Picture missing from wall. Patch of hole in wall where doorknob had gone through, falling off the wall. Two different sized harps on wall lamps situated side-by-side between the beds ... made the light fixtures look very shabby. These same light fixtures would not stay on unless you wiggled the switch. I didn't not even feel safe using these lamps. The patched windowsill was in dire need of replacement; the plaster was falling right off. No screen on the window. Sticky blotches, the size of a baseball, on the carpet. The walls are paper-thin. Hope you get a room off in a corner somewhere so you don't have to listen to your neighbors till all hours of the night. I was wrong for not bringing the desk clerk's attention to these items before checking out. Although when I did, she was very sincere and courteous about it all. The "deluxe" continental breakfast is from 6am-9am. If, by chance, there is anything left at 7:30am, you're in luck. There was 'a' half-eaten donut in a box at 7:25am. A suggestion might be that if they are going to accept bus groups, they might arrange for their continental breakfast at a different location within the hotel. Make them feel special. That way there would be breakfast available for others in the motel as their bus group people were taking plates of whatever was for breakfast (don't really know ... didn't get any) onto their bus when they boarded their bus for a day of touring around 7:30am. Renovations in 2004???? Hmmmm .... they need more.
