Green Trails Inn, Brookfield

This hotel is in a small remote Vermont town, that is so quiet. The dirt road, and the floating bridge are just so relaxing. I grew up in Vermont, and have been waiting for an opportunity to return, and when I did, I took my husband, who had never been to New England, and he was so impressed! If you want to be surrounded by the true New England atmosphere, and be TOTALLY relaxed, I would recommend that Green Trails is your destination. There is so much to see and do, and close, that you will be like us... You will never want to leave the cool, green mountains and return to the hussle and bussle of the city life that awaited us as we returned to the hot and sticky south.
