My new favorite hotel in Salt Lake City!

My wife and I recently had our 17th wedding anniversary. It was my trun to plan for the anniversary outing. This year I selected a Utah Jazz game and the weekend at the Sheraton Hotel. I called in to make a reservation and was directed to the hotels reservation manager. I told her about the anniversary and that I was hoping for a Jacuzzi suite if it was available. She was so friendly and helpful. She was able to give me room I wanted and at a very good price. She made the entire experience as painless as possible. When we arrived to check-in we were greeted at the door and directed to the front desk. The front desk and lobby area besides being attractive was fully staffed. We were greeted warmly by the desk clerk. The Gentleman was the most competent and affable desk clerk I've run into in awhile. The room turned out to be a corner room under the stair well. Though you could hear footsteps sometimes in the morning, mostly it was peace and quiet. The room was spotless and very spacious. The big screen TV's were great! We loved the Jacuzzi tub, and the bed was one of the comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept on. I highly recommend the Sheration in Salt Lake City!

The entire place is under full blown construction. It might be nice once it's completed, but I wish I would have stayed somewhere else!

Don't stay here

Room was $125 a night. 4 nights here - 2 without heat and 2 with intermittent and slow internet connections. They can't regulate the heat in areas so they shut it down and freeze out half the hotel. I won't be staying at any Sheratons again!

Nerver again!

We could not stand the smell and overall condition of the room that we were to stay in. It looked like no one had cleaned it from the night before. When we went to complain the front desk people were completely useless and confused. There are much better places to stay in SLC.

mixed bag

Nice room,but NOISY ! It seemed like the housekeeping staff was in the hallways from early morning to evening talking at full volume,shouting,cursing. Doors slammed,vacumns hummed. The air conditioning was marginal at best.The equipment cycled on and off and never completely cooled the room.My girlfriend stayed with me,and we slept fitfully,and awoke in a sweat. The front desk staff,for the most part had trouble understanding English,although they sincerely tried to be helpful. On the positive side,the room was clean and very spacious.The Italian resturant in the Hotel was excellent!

Incredible bed!

Liked: Bed was amazingly comfortable (as were the pillows). Great views. Decent location. Beautiful lobby. Rooms were nicely decorated. Disliked: Have to pay $10/night for high speed internet. Had trouble setting up the internet (but they ended up giving me the internet for free for one night). Parking lot set-up. Good parking spots, close to a lobby entrance, are hard to get. If you don't get one, it takes forever to get from your parking spot to your room.

Great Place for some TLC

If you are looking for a hotel that is not only convenient to everything but also one you can count on this is the place. The staff here has gone over and above what I would expect on a business trip. No question or request was to dumb. Even at 4:30 AM the airport shuttle driver had me laughing and I am definitely not a morning person.

Great Hotel, Location

Good service, nice lobby, within walking distance of good eating, pubs, night clubs. Car rental and ski rental right next to hotel. Withing 40 min. of Alta/Snowbird. I loved the stay.

Staff here sucks

They make you carry your bags to the second floor, no bell hop in sight and no elevator. The lobby is drab. Food is terrible.
