Not so good
By Theresa, 06/26/07
This place did seem overpriced and was not cleaned to my standards. The mattresses seeemed really worn out, too. Read the "prepayment" conditions carefully if you book this because they make it sound like this is a really good bargain for the price, but it is not.

A frightful experience!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/14/06
When we pulled up in front of the hotel, I was scared. I was put into Room 144. There was a window unit in the room, covered by curtains. The unit only ran until 9:30pm and then shut off. It was so hot in the room I could hardly breathe. They did finally bring me down a fan. Didn't help much. The carpets were filthy, and my bathroom had bodily stains that had not been mopped from previous visitors. I had to lay down one of the towels to step over the mess, and even those were a dingy color. I would never stay in this hotel, nor would I recommend anyone else to stay in this hotel, especially someone with children. This is truly the worst nightmare I have ever walked into.

Grungy
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/05/06
We stayed in room 145. The carpet was filthy. Outside our room were bags of trash that stayed there all night and until we left the next day. The "white" towels were an ugly grey. There was a big dumpster in the parking lot filled with garbage. We chose it because it was rated 3 stars. it should not be rated 3 stars by any means.

Don't Stay Here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/14/06
I stayed at this hotel on a business trip in December. The heat was broken in my room, the room itself was dirty and outdated, and the service was poor. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here.

It was a Pit
By Sandy W, 08/14/05
There was a definate obnoxious odor in the room. The toilet was blocked, but after twenty minutes they did manage to find a plunger for me to use. The beds were so-so in terms of comfort. The ice machine in the lobby area was broken down but the desk staff did manage to give me wrong directions to the one at the other end of the building. They did offer a breakfast, but we did not sleep real well in that room and were up and on the road before it was served. The nearby Holiday Inn Express looked. from the road at least, that it would have been a much better choice. This place was way over priced and we would avoid it in the future.

It was a nice place
By ABCD, 05/31/05
You might miss Kanab if you blinked an eye while driving - a nice small town. This hotel is located right on Hwy 89. Looks like it was re-modelled because rooms looked old. I would not call it shabby. In my opinion, the room was clean. The front end staff were friendly and nice. They had a decent complimentary breakfast. Probably not worth a premium in price, but certainly a good hotel to crash for the night. Would recommend for families.

C. Lang
By Candice, 06/16/04
When we got to this property the first thing we noticed was that the door was filthy, entering the lobby we found the lobby dirty and smelly. We had made reservations for two ground floor rooms and they only had one and had no excuse for not having both. We did not stay and would NOT recommend this property, and this was not our first bad experience with Best Western properties.
