Our room had a very unplesant musty smell...like a very old house. The carpet was worn and tatered at the entry. The staff was very good and plesant.

Loved the movie nights for fam. Managemet goes out of their way to make your day breeze by. I really enjoy the never ending supplies of white towels........WOW! Staff was exceptional .......... Still here lol and will come back........

I think the only thing 4 star about this hotel is the name. The rooms are fairly small, the sofa in our room had about a 2" x 2" hole in it service is average, room finishes average. Stay at any of the surrounding hotels.

I didn't like the unfriendly staff who seemed like they were better then us! A blond girl who worked the night of august 12 was rude.

I stayed at Omni San Antonio Colonnade for work. A month later my credit card was billed for $7.60. After a week of no response from Omni, I still have no idea why I was charged the fee. Could it be for the bathrobe I had to throw on in the middle of the night when the fire alarm was pulled by one of the hundreds of unruly teenagers that were staying there at the same time? This was reason I couldn't even get my RESERVED non-smoking room. Among these complaints, the "free" airport shuttle only runs every hour and when my co-workers had to wait over 1-hr for the shuttle with still no sign of the Omni, they took a cab. Omni reimbursed them, but they didn't reimburse me. The blow dryer (in the smoking room) didn't work, so while trying to get ready for my early conference, I had to wait 30 minutes to get a replacement. At least the F&B staff was pleasant.

Excellent stay in the hotel!! Did not like the restaurant, the service was slow and the food expensive.

First off I'd like to say, the hotel staff was very nice at this hotel. We stayed 2 nights recently for our anniversary! The first evening we had a bad odor coming from the air conditioning vent, called the front desk, and were told that someone would be up to check it. We waited about an hour, got comfortable, laying in bed watching tv and talking when....we hear a voice inside our door!! No knock, just used the pass key and let himself in!!!! Thank goodness we were both presentable!!! So, lock the doors! Later, about 1 am, the fire alarm went off. We were luckily on the 6th floor and walked down the stairs to the lobby as instructed. Upon arrival to the lobby, there was no one from the hotel guiding anyone anywhere! But, I guess that's because it was a false alarm. A nice note stating that the hotel was sorry for the inconvience was under our door when we awoke the next morning. The room itself is a little dated, but the bedding was plush and clean. The bathroom a little small, shower had no pressure, and the lighting in the vanity area outside was impossible to put makeup on with. All in all, we had a lovely time in San Antonio, but...next time, maybe a different hotel.

I recently travelled to San Antonio with a friend to attend a conference and we both were very pleased with our stay at this Omni. The entire facility is clean and tastefully decorated. The beds are divinely comfortable - I actually slept like a log which I can never manage to do in my NYC apartment. All the staff we encountered were friendly and courteous. Although this hotel is not near the downtown/Riverwalk area, they do provide an excellent shuttle service to and from the airport and other locations. The van drivers were especially helpful and kudos also to the wait-staff at Bolo's the Hotel restaurant. I should also mention that Bolo's has a delicious breakfast buffet with lots of choices, including massive amounts of fresh fruit. This was first time both my friend and I visited Texas and the folks at Omni really made us feel welcome.

My husband found this Omni through a Six Flags website. It was very convenient to Fiesta Texas (approx. 5+ mins drive). We stayed at the Marriott Courtyard a fews ago across the highway from Omni which was nice but the Omni felt more like an indulgence since you can tell it's geared toward the business traveler and I suspect they do some special rates on the weekend for leisure travelers. Very nice staff. Housekeeping checked on us every night for "turn down" and ice. The one small thing that was a little irritating is that our second trash can got missed 2 nights. On the second or third night, a housekeeping supervisor came to ask us how our housekeeping service had been. I said "great" except for the overlooked trash can. She immediately offered to take care of it so I went ahead and gave them 5 stars for cleanliness because it was a well kept hotel and based on her prompt attention to my response. The other thing I would say is that they were good at communicating. We got a letter under our door to welcome us to the hotel and thank us for our business. Then, we got a letter another day that they were doing something with their internet service but we never experienced any disruption. There was another letter related to a fire drill which had no impact on us as we were away at Six Flags when they did it during the day. All and all a nice treat for parents and the kids were "wowed" by it since it wasn't one of the typical family budget type hotels. We also enjoyed the plush beds. We paid $83 nt + taxes and stayed 3 nights.
