Holiday Inn Select North Dallas, Dallas

My son and I stayed here 4 nights while in Dallas visiting friends. This hotel has been renovated and our room was brand new, very upscale decor-NICE! We got a deal on Priority Club website-5000 points per night-all 4 nights for price of one with points-basically FREE.They even gave us free breakfast-and it was great-someone cooking fresh hot eggs, pancakes and waffles! Lots of fresh fruit and great coffee. The room was great, awesome soft beds and cotton linens. Quiet floor and had a laundry. Staff was so nice.Bath was spotless, nice towels and toiletries. I cannot believe anyone would have anything bad to say about this hotel! The regular price was only $72 with AAA- a lot of value for the $$. Free internet in room. Ask for upper level rooms-more quiet. Nice lobby with bar. Very cool place I will only stay here when visiting Dallas!

I am coming to this hotel for about five years now three times a year. Every time it gets worse. Rooms are more and more worn out. Last time in August there were heavy thunderstorms and the executive level that I am usually in was steamy and smelled like mold I assume because of a leaking roof. Everywhere on the floor were beetles that looked like cockroaches but were not as I was told. Nevertheless my wife got frantic about the idea one of these numerous insects crawling on her at night. I complained and the moved us down to the third floor which was OK. Staff is constantly changing and not attentive often, they promise but they don't keep. Shuttle service from the DFW is a problem for five years now, sometimes you wait for up to an hour for pick up. There's one person in this hotel since five years that keeps me up an elderly waitress that cares for the breakfast. That's how service should be, friendly, swift and always a short small talk.

When we drove up we thought, oh no another dumpy Holiday Inn, but WOW--the hotel is way above a Holiday Inn, more like a Marriott or Hilton. Very Very Nice!

This was a great hotel. Great location. The staff was very curtious and helpful. The restaurant staff were very good and the food was a good quality. For the price this was a excellent hotel.
