MCM Elegante Hotel & Conference Center, Odessa

Front desk Was Rude. Was not told that the suite had chose a $150 deposit till we showed up. Even after we found this out the front desk did not do anything to make it right. Would never stay there even if it was for free.

Staff was unfriendly and unaccommodating. Rooms were average at best, cleaning staff needed to spend a few extra minutes in each room. Executive floor (8th floor) has a lot of traffic in the mornings and if your room is close to the concierge room, don't plan on sleeping past 5am. Go somewhere else and get the points.

The staff is poorly trained. They made you feel as if you were an inconvenience to them. One of the phones in the room did not work. The fire alarm went off at 2 a.m. Could not get an answer from the front desk. No apologies, nothing the next morning. The food is okay. They treat children disrespectfully. Also, I have a problem with a hotel that doesn't know places of interest in their own city. I knew more about Odessa than they did. Probably worth the twenty minute drive to stay in Midland instead!

I travel to Odessa/Midland often on business. It is a perfect hotel to call home on the road. The beds are awesome. The rooms are comfortable. I've stayed in worse and have paid allot more. Just don't expect a 5 start here. Because with all the kids and oil workers - it's not. But they do a great job with making you comfortable.

The hotel is beautiful and fun to stay at, my husband and I often stay there for a weekend away sometimes. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. The service is ok not the best I've seen before but I have been many places. For Odessa it is just right. :) We like it alot!!

It was an ok experience, I only stayed there for a night. I got everything a needed, but I don't rememver something about it that madame say wow!! Good value,
