Sandcastle Resort Condominiums, Port Aransas

All I can say is that this place is fabulous!!!!!!!!!!! My husband, myself, and our 3 children stayed here for one week (starting July 9th)! Not only was the view of the beach priceless, but the easy access to the beach was awesome! Our room was cleaned nicely everyday, and we never had any problems at all!!! The Sandcastle is the place to stay. There are alot of memories for me and my family at the Sandcastle condominiums and also in Port Aransas. We come here every summer and will continue to come for years to come. I hope everyone who reads this will experience the "magic" of The Sandcastle condominiums and the beach in Port Aransas. The memories are priceless!!!

I recently stayed at the sandcastle in may2007 with my wife,stepson ,stepdaughter,son in law and my two grand kids.We spent 3 days in port aransas and since we did not have to spend a bunch on the condo we spent toooo much on everything else. but now it does not matter if we would have spent our life savings becouse my son in law was murdered in june and I could never put a price on the last great memories spent at the sandcastle and port aransas.

My husband and I travel from San Antonio to Port A at least 1 every 1-1/2 months. We always stay at the SandCastle Condos. the staff is always very friendly and helpful and the rooms are always very clean. We've taken our 4 children there, gone by ourselves, and have recommended it to just about everyone we know! it's our "Home away from home".

the sandcastle is the very best plsce on the island. we will be there on the 2nd of june and will be there for 9 days. this will be our 15th year to stay here. we love portaransas!

We had a nice stay in our condo, although there was a bit too much seaweed in the water and on the beach during our stay.

We stayed in Unit 110(the best efficiency at the Sandcastle by far!) which was newly renovated and loved the decor. The bathroom and fully appointed kitchen is awesome and the price can't be beat. We enjoyed the hot tub, the pool but most of all the early morning walks along the beach and the fabulous sunsets. The staff at the Sandcastle are top notch. Friendly and helpful. This is definitely top on our list for our next vacation.

Our first time was just one of those lucky things. It was April 2005. We were just so pleased with everything. The 2nd stay was in May 2006, with a group of 10, ages ranging from 18 to 75. It was a great time for all. The pool is awesome, the view is awesome, the service was great and the rooms were the tops. We went and got fresh shrimp at the docks. Some went deep sea fishing. Some golfed. It was a trip that on the last night everyone said, "Can't we stay one more night?". I guess 7 nights were not enough. This year May 2007 we are sure will be just as good, we are so sure we booked that extra night!

This place is absolutely amazing. Where do I start? My first experience was a pleasant conversation with a staff member who answered every question in detail I had regarding the rooms. I booked immediately. Prior to arriving, I misplaced my map to the Sandcastle. I called and was given accurate and concise directions by another staff member. When we checked in to our room, I was in shock! I never expected to have such a spectacular view of the ocean. In addition, the landscaping at this resort is impeccable. They have a staff of two or three individuals who manicure every inch of the property every morning. The pool, despite being beside in ocean, doesn't have a grain of sand in it! The room itself has a very modern, cozy decor with excellent color coordination. When we finally left the room for the beach (with the comfort and view, it is hard to leave), we took the boardwalk to the oceanside. The pictures on the website do not do the boardwalk justice - the carpentry and pattern of the wood are very unique, not to mention picturesque. The ocean is about 50-75 yds from the resort, or a 1 minute walk. I cannot emphasize the effort of this resort staff in keeping everything in near-perfect shape or the sheer beauty of the view standing from the balcony. Words simply can't describe our experience so I've included a few pictures of my own. Thank you, Sandcastle. This was my wife and I's first vacation after being married earlier this year. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend it. If you're looking for a beautiful place to get away, look no further.

My husband, daughter and I discovered this great condo year before last. The efficiency is spacious, with a large window overlooking the beach. There is plenty of room for all of us. What I like most about this condo is that it is very conveniently located, is practically right on the beach, has a beautiful and very large pool, and of course the double hot tub is my favorite, even on summer nights. This condo is both simple and gracious. We feel lucky to have discovered it, especially after staying at several other hotels on this island.

My best friend and I took off from Austin with reservations at another location--we got lost and saw the Sandcastle and decided to check it out before we went to the other place. We loved it so much, we checked in. It was absolutely AWESOME!!! A FIVE_STAR experience. Our unit overlooked the pool and the ocean--we ate in, cooked our own food, and hung out at the pool, the beach, and the hottub---Casey at the front desk was a sweetheart. There is nothing bad to say about Sandcastle and we dream of going back in the next few weeks. We miss it everyday and think about it everyday!!! When we checked out, we found the place we were suppose to go too and got a key and went and looked at it--For 25.00 more a night, we got first-class instead of low-class with beds that looked like they could be full of bed-bugs! We were so happy we got lost--I highly recommend this beautiful place to everyone who wants a lovely and relaxing holiday in Port Aransas! Karen M.
