La Quinta Inn Eagle Pass, Eagle Pass

We traveled with our little league team to Eagle Pass for a tournament. Check in and check out took forever with the manager being completely inept and messing it up entirely. Our room had a bed frame that stuck out too far and I ran in to it several times hurting my leg. The rooms and hotel in general were dirty and run down. The management was very poor. For the price, I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all. If we were to visit Eagle Pass again, I would definately choose another hotel.

The room was not ready when we arrived at about 12:15pm. The front desk said the rooms were being cleaned and had to wait to about 3:00pm for the normal check in time. They did not offer another room that was already clean. I had to call the 800 customer number to get a room that was ready. Then we get to the room and the key does not work on the door. The maid call front desk about the problem they never showed up. I had to go back to the office and get the right key. It does not end there. We finally went out. When we got back the key did not work again. Again back to the office. Some how the key was changed again. How do you change a key when custromers are already checked in?

I travel with a CLC card so I get a really excellent rate here. The hotel is recently renovated (I stayed 3/12/09), is clean, friendly and has a great breakfast. It will be quite a while before I'm back in Eagle Pass but I will stay here again.
