EXCELLENT STAY!

Our stay was excellent. The room was clean and comfy. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The best part was the beach just outside the hotel. It was always groomed in the morning and was very nice. They also had the pool and play area just inside from the beach so you could cool off in the indoor pool if you wanted. My kids found hermit crabs, starfish and other cool sea life in the ocean. Very nice stay. They only downside was the wait for food in the restaurant. Very under staffed when we ate there our first night.

Not the best

No fridge or microwave in rooms, every single floor was out of ice (had to ask staff to get some from kitchen), room was not ready until 4:30 (check in is supposed to be 4), we waited until 6 to get towels, indoor pool is gross...I could go on...the only great thing is the location. You walk out the back and there is the beach. Although, I find it strange that, even as a guest of the hotel, I had to pay extra to rent beach lounging chairs or an umbrella.

Rude Staff/Dirty Rooms

We paid the extra $60 for a 5th person to stay in our room. When I asked for our roll-away bed they said it would be an extra $20 per night. Really? Why did we pay the $60? The room had 2 double, not queen beds. I asked where this person was expected to sleep and Mr. Lee said "according to fire code the room can accomodate 5 people" my question was..."where is this person supposed to sleep" he then very arrogantly stated "we don't promise they will be comfortable"!! And on top of all that the room was not clean and they only gave us a half a roll of toilet paper...for 5 people. It was awful and we will NEVER stay their again.

The Lobby

Only thing I did not like about the place was the worn out furniture in the lobby! I will come back, location is great to get to the beach. And I gave you guys a good review. But there was one thing that I didn't mention was that tacky worn out furniture in the lobby. : 0 Not a good first impression. Come on now guys, with the rates we pay for the rooms. And no frig or microwave or room safe for valuables . We could at least have a nice entry to the lobby don't ya think ,sure ya can. If we bring a visitor with us on a vacation there we dont want to see that worn out furniture when we walk in . Please get some nice new up to date furniture, K. Other than that our stay waas just fine.

They do not like disabled customers!!!

The business center does not open with your room card, you have to get a NEW card each time from the front desk and it only lasts 15 minutes. You then have to get another one (I could not figure this one out!). It takes 15 minutes (without a disability) to walk from the front to the back of the hotel (if you have been assigned a room in the back). Other: I tried to get a mini-fridge for my insulin, but was told to leave it at the front desk! The TV is Old and small. The decor is adequate, but old. The desk chair was broke and they brought another one that is the cheapest office chair.

LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

We got a package deal for this hotel because our son's baseball team was staying their. Otherwise if I had to pay they normal rate, No way I would have stayed. The hotel is cramp, smelly, crowded, and loud. Everything is old, it is in a undersiable location of the city. All of the surroundings are old.

Feel bad staying here for work since my company picked up the tab. Everything was just dingy, elevators had a weird smell and none of the vending machines were operational Surprised my room didn't have a frig or microwave, coffee maker looked dirty. Also no comp breakfast or coffee which is pretty sandard at hotels. Save your money and drive a few miles to stay at homewood suites which was an excellent stay.

WORST HOTEL EVER!!

This place not only doesn't live up to its guarantees, it doesn't even respond to complaints. See the photo of the nice surprise I found in my shower upon arrival. They wouldn't clean up the nasty brown pool of liquid that greeted me when I went into the bathroom, wouldn't switch me to a different room, and refused to refund my money despite their written guarantee to the contrary. I sent multiple emails to their general manager regarding this that went completely unanswered. Since the hotel won't deal with me directly, I will let the internet know about my stay.
