A double blessing
By jay, 2/11/11
We only live 50 miles from Lubbock Tx. So when I needed hand surgery I didn't think about a room. But 2 days before, the weather turned and we had frozen pipes and bad streets. I called the Embassy when i told them we had no water and I had Testing the day before the surgery, they gave us early check-in so I could shower. The staff was great!! This was Feb 4th As soon as I got home I booked For Feb 14th.. This PLace is great BEST IN LUBBOCK ...

Good
By Coley, 3/17/10
Mostly like other Embassy Suites. The staff is friendly. It is clean. The food from the in hotel restaurant was decent. The location is fine. For a reliable, but not neccessarily interesting stay, I would stay here again. I liked the living area of the suite. I liked the gated patio for hanging out outside. My room was directly above the front entrance and the bar on the other side, so at times it was a little loud, but not terrible.

Management/Staff not helpful
By Ami, 5/2/09
Our room had been rented out, so we had to stay in a smaller one. No compensation was given or offered. I asked but just said it was the best they could do. There was a birthday party for non guests, my daughtwar was bomb dived into as she was in the hot tub, messing up her leg. I reported it to the manager many times, as we & other guests were leaving they came to check and said they cannot control what happenes in the pool area, since there is no way to know who is staying at the hotel and who is not. We went only to be put in a room in a hallway with the light shining straight through the door, all night. They do have a "snack/drink" time in the evening. while the setting is nice, it is not things normal children would enjoy. But some kids love spinach/artichoke dip, mine just do not. We needed a few towels and washcloths. They brought towels and actually said they were out of washcloths but we could manage. We had 5 people in the room and four washcloths. On a better note, I can say that the hotel was very clean and the breakfast is very good. There is a large variety and the atrium is beautiful. Unfortunately, in Lubbock, this is still about the best thing available. The manager said to call him next time I stay and he will see that the right room is available and it will be in a better location. We will try a competitor next time and see how it goes.

Nice Hotel
By Texasgal69, 1/25/09
I have stayed here a couple of times and I like this hotel. My past stay was just a little disappointing as the bed was just not comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great.

Loving it!!!
By PaigeP, 9/3/08
I fell so much in love with this place! Me and my, now fiancé, found this place while searching on the internet. When we first stayed at the Embassy back in June, we walked in and felt like we were at home. The hotel inside was so beautiful. The lobby was especially gorgeous! There were waterfalls and ponds of beautiful fish that were very relaxing. My son enjoyed looking at them. The staff was amazing and very helpful. They informed us of all the features that came with the room like the manager's reception and the breakfast. They were also very helpful in showing us to our room. Once we walked into the room, it was beyond my expectations. It had comfortable beds, a microwave, a refrigerator, a living room, and an awesome sink. It was like a home you could just relax in. The shower was also a dream with a changeable shower head and an extended round shower rod. Even though the bathroom was kind of small, the room and facility made up for it. The rest of the hotel was so amazing. The breakfast area and the bar area were so comfortable and relaxing. And OMG the breakfast was soooo good! I have never had so much available for a complementary breakfast. French toast, pancakes, eggs, omelets, hash browns, and Starbucks coffee. I still to this day crave their breakfast! The manager’s reception was great too. They had appetizers and free drinks for 2 hours. The staff was very pleasant in our needs and making sure our stay was worth it. We have made it a ritual to go back every time to stay at the Embassy. We are planning on getting married sometime next September, so we have decided on having our reception and possibly our wedding there. We just love the Embassy! It’s a great place for anyone to stay who is looking for a home away from home. It was well worth the price and I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone!

Great Stay in Lubbock
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/23/04
Beautiful all-suite hotel...truly an upscale environment. We were treated like royalty by every employee we came in contact with. Room service was the best I've ever had. Highly recommend the filet. My daughter enjoyed the indoor pool and the machines in the workout room all have their own television screens...very cool!
