Hotel Indigo in Dallas
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/30/09
I stayed at Hotel Indigo a couple of weeks with some of my sorority sisters. We stayed on St. Pattys day and had a wonderful time. The hotel had just renovated and is decorated with a cool beach theme. The service was excellent, our room could not have been any cuter. The check-in clerk helped us with dinner reservations and had the hotel's car take us wherever we wanted that night no expense whatsoever. All employees were extremely kind and attentive. I loved this hotel and the price was not bad either. I recommend this place to families, friends and couples. Cannot think of one negative aspect about my stay here.

Don't do it
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/23/08
The staff has no idea what they are doing. They overbill you and can't explain what it is for. Won't resolve it until I went to ICH and got them involved. Room was noisy and smelled. Do your self a favor and stay somewhere else.

Nyeh
By Brian Moss, 4/3/08
I was in town for a show at the Majestic Theatre, so I chose the Indigo mostly for its location just around the corner from the theater. I'll give the Indigo some leeway because it's located in such an old building, but suffice it to say that I was not overly impressed. Here's what stood out to me: - The wireless connection was extremely unreliable, which is a HUGE negative in my book. - There were surprisingly few channels to watch in our tiny little room (the standard one-queen-bed room). - Apparently the management didn't feel we needed more than one single cup of coffee in the morning for the two of us, as that's all they provided for the in-room coffee maker. - For that matter, we were only provided with one keycard. - The staff wasn't exactly rude, but not overly friendly either. - More signage would have been nice, most notably to and from the adjacent skywalk to the parking garage across the street. - Finally, I'm afraid I can't report on the lobby bar/restaurant, as their limited hours prevented me from ever checking it out. All in all, the Dallas Indigo is a decent place to stay, but I'll have to give someplace else a try the next time I'm in town. The bright pastels simply weren't enough to distract me from what a mediocre place it is.

This hotel has been completely renovated and is sooo coool. now called the Hotel indigo. check out some updated website, the lobby is blue and lime green with some orange thrown in there, the art is very unique, using old photos with new original stuff painted over it. The staff is great. I loved it.

Historic
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/17/07
I have visted at The Aristocrat several times, including New Years Eve. It is a classic, historic beautiful hotel with original design. The employees are exceptional and the location is blocks from anywhere you want to be. The rates are low compared to other downtown hotels. You will enjoy your stay! Jennifer Bell-Oklahoma

Excellent decor and service
By Jemine, 6/18/07
I stayed at the Indigo on a business trip and initially, pulling up to the hotel, I was not impressed at all. But the minute I walked into the lobby, I was immediately impressed. The service was excellent. The ambience was even better. I have never seen another hotel like it. And this was all before I entered my room. My room was excellently decorated, clean and spacious. I loved the art theme and the decor throughout the entire hotel. The service, once again, was amazing! I needed to warm up some left overs and called down to the front desk to ask if they had a microwave. They brought me a microwave! I would definitely recommend the hotel to all.

APRIL STAY
By INEZ, 5/2/07
My husband had major heart surgery on April 9, 2007 and since we could not get rooms at the Baylor hotel, they suggested we try the Hotel Indigo. Our experience there was wonderful. Although, there were problems with the room, the staff was johnny on the spot to correct them. It took a bunch of tries to ever get our room key to work, the toilet handle immediately broke off but as I said the staff almost ran to our room to repair everything and with a smile on their faces. Granted this is in downtown Dallas and can be pretty scary at times we had no problem. My husbands family also stayed there and the van driver was there to meet them each morning EARLY to take them to Baylor each and every time they called. One or two times, knowing they would need to get to Baylor, the van driver was waiting without being called. The restaurant could keep better hours and I had to go to 6 floors to find a Dr. Pepper/Coke machine that was working. This could be corrected. We have to return to Baylor next week for my husbands check up and since we live 4 hours drive from Baylor, we will try to stay at this wonderful hotel again. And in June my sister from San Antonio and my mother and I will meet there to celebrate my mothers 82nd birthday with an outing to the farmers market and around the historic parts of downtown. The beds were wonderful, the internet would not work on my lap top for some reason, everything was clean and gorgeous. We definitely highly recommend this wonderful refurbished hotel. They also gave us a great Baylor rate since my husband was so sick.

much noise
By Jason T, 4/30/07
The room had very poor insulation. every noise, even poeple talking on the street 6 floors down could be heard. The guy next door argued with his wife until 2:30am,I know its not the hotels fault, but It sounded as if he was standing over my bed! If only the staff would have ever asked how my stay was I would have given them an earfull. I DO NOT plan on ever going back.

Outstanding Service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/21/06
We stayed at Hotel Indigo during opening weekend of State Fair of Texas. It is a beautiful hotel. The beds were extremely comfortable. The staff was the best part. They were so accomodating. We had a great view of the parade. We used the shuttle to get to the fairgrounds, Lawrence was great. We plan to stay again for the Children's Parade.

Great Place!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/21/06
This hotel had a big makeover and it shows! The decor is trendy, the rooms are comfortable. The staff was friendly and fun. The location is great, the Majestic is right around the corner as is Neiman Marcus and other points of interest. They have a free shuttle that will take you within a 3 mile radius which is awesome if you do not know your way around town, no charge. They have an open desk with 2 computers, again no charge. Food was decent, maids did their job, all around it was a great stay. I had the opportunity to stay during the grand opening party which was outstanding and it was the weekend for the Downtown City Lights Extravaganza so it made for a real treat! You get a lot for your buck. Parking was right across the street in a parking garage and was very inexpensive. I believe it was 6 dollars a day on weekdays and 3 dollars on weekends, for every exit. The only thing I could remark badly about this place is , one has to remember it is an older building, sometimes I could hear doors opening and closing unlike a newer hotel.
