4-Star Hotel are you kidding!
By Kim P, 12/16/07
First when we got there we had problems checking in and the lady was rude. Once we got to our room we were shocked on how small it was. Upon looking around the room we noticed that the carpet was tore up near the bathroom. Fine so we left to go out that evening and leaving the parking gargage no one was at the gate to let us out. We waited a couple of minutes still no one. I had to get out of the car and go ask a bell man to open the gate. When we returned we ate at the resturant and it was great but a liitle expensive. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. You dont get what you pay for!!!

Old, stained, and in need of a cleaning
By Robb, 9/23/07
First off, the service was okay. The only person I ran into that wasn't helpful was a front desk person named "Rose", who should look into other work if she is going to behave so poorly. This hotel might have been nice at some point, but it is now in need of a lot of repair and cleaning. The furniture in both of my rooms (I stayed on two occasions) was beaten and worn. The bathrooms were okay, but not as clean as you would have hoped. The bath tubs are hard to stand in for showering. The food was average to poor, which is okay as you should be eating elsewhere anyway. I would not stay here again, ever. The majority of the staff were nice and helpful (the concierge hosts and bellmen are five star), but that is not enough to make you look past the damage and stains this place have.

Had a blast!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/19/07
Location & service was great, friendly staff and beds were comfy. The things I didn't like was the carpet in my room, looked dirty. Internet should be free and should have ice buckets in the room.

Won't stay there again.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/24/07
Dislikes-$22 fee per day for valet parking. It was extremely hot outside and our room never cooled off even though someone came to check the AC. He said a lot of other rooms were warm.It was warm because the windows were not insulated. Bathroom had only one sink and was small. Also had no exhaust fan. Basically we paid too much for the small bedroom and bathroom. Likes-Service was very good. Everyone that we dealt with was pleasant and helpful.

Don't Stay !
By ups, 6/24/07
The Sheraton is under construction. The first room we stayed in was dirty. We complained and was moved to a new room which had been partially renovated. However, it still looked worn and dirty. The Hotel was totally overpriced for the quality and service. We were awaken by hammering at 6:00 am and at 6.38 a Maid knocked twice on the door and asked us when she could clean the room. Several additional problems occurred...it was just totally unbelievable. I live in Nashville. This night was for a girlfriend and I to get away from husbands and kids. The event was totally stressful...I hate confrontation and normally don't complain. However, this time it just had to be done. At checkout we were told they placed 10,000 starpoints on my reward card.....Well to no surpise we didn't even receive half of the starpoints. DON'T STAY HERE people...a night at a hotel shouldn't be so stressful !!! This hotel just doesn't have it together.

Great Place to stay in downtown..great value.
By wolfman105, 6/11/07
Was in town for 5 days for CMA Fest 2007. I have to say the hotel was very well staffed for this busy time. Only a few minor problems during the stay: most of the guest ice machines were out of order; the maids came waaaaaaaaaaay too early in the mornings to clean up when obviously most of the guests were out late due to the late night concerts and stuff. Other than that we had no problems during the visit. The Sheraton is a few more footsteps away from the attractions downtown..but the attractions are easily found.

I'll come back for sure
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/26/07
Excellent accomodations, service great, Mr. Felner especially helpful to me, and ease of taxis were exceptional to Nashville area tourist areas. I wish to send Mr. Felner special accolades for his exceptional service and empathy for my dilemma when I found this young man, did know him from "Adam," but gave me excellent advice on transportation to a particular place of interest (the mall in Franklin, TN) and walked with me and helped me get a cab and wished me a good day (as well as my wife). Thanks for Mr. Felner's help and thanks for your excellent customer service and cleanliness of rooms, room service, restaurants, and bar area(s) , etc. I was at the Hyatt Regional Convention Center in early March and your hotel was much better in many ways than that much more expensive hotel in Denver. I will definitely come back when in Nashville. Regards, Frank

customer service beyond compare!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/13/06
The courteous friendly staff was everywhere! The front desk people were amazing and could not do enough to please everyone! Infact the entire staff from servers to managers and housekeeping attended to our every need. I felt like royalty! What a nice feeling and I would definitely return. The downtown location is just perfect and we could never get lost as you could see the Sheraton sign high on top of the hotel and it acted like a beacon and guided me home each night! The whole experience was awesome... thanks Nashville and thanks Sheraton Hotels! Henry from Canada

Tired facility
By Alan, 4/11/06
In terms of service, this is typical Sheraton, steller service, attentive Staff. You can't beat the beds in a Starwood property. The facility is the problem. It is tired and in desperate need of refresh. Numerous lights out on the sign outside signal things to come. The elevators are slow, the AC units dont really cool the room well. The tile in the bathroom is worn etc etc. The rooms look dirty even if they aren't simply as a function of the worn, tile, carpets, bathroom fixtures etc. When I took a walk down to convention center it was clear the new Hilton Garden is the place to stay in downtown Nashville.
