Holiday Inn I 40 And I 75, Knoxville

The biggest thing that stood out to me was the fact that the hotel swimming pool is open 24/7. The only time it closes is in the event of a lightening strike. This is the first time I have ever been to a hotel that has its swimming pool open all day and all night. The pool is in a huge open area with a bar and plenty of seating for people. The pool is an indoor/outdoor pool. The hotel has been recently remodeled, it is beautful, and staff is friendly, and the hotel is located in a safe area.

This hotel was pretty nice, but I have to give it a rating of very poor because some of my clothing was taken from my room and not returned. We checked in around seven p.m. After we had showered, we went out again at 9:00. I carried my dirty clothes from the bathroom rolled up in a towel and placed them in the floor by my bag. We returned to the room at about ten and went to bed. In the morning, we had to leave quickly to make our next match. As I packed, I saw that my clothes were gone. What kind of maid service cleans a room between 9:00 and 10:00 p.m.? I realize that a towel doesn't belong in the bedroom...but still how do you pick up five articles of clothing and not realize it? The towel was white and my shorts were black. When I arrived home and called the hotel, they told me that if I'd leave a message with the head house-keeper, my clothes would be sent to me. I left a message, but she never replied. After spending over $100 for a one-night stay, I don't feel that donating my clothing is fair. Keep your stuff packed up or it may disappear.

Very gracious customer service representatives. Patient, thorough, accommodating. Comfortable room. I would definitely stay here should I return to Knoxville.

We had 2 adjoining suites with 4 queen beds and the beds are absolutely fabulous, I slept like a baby. The next morning we went down for the continental breakfast and it was all we could have wanted. A wonderful all around experience.

Very fun-filled hotel, inviting lobby area with gift shop, restaurant, and lounge. Long hallways with lots of rooms. Excellent activity area with large centrally located indoor pool, pool bar, conference rooms, indoor basketball court, and game room. Very nice for younger adults/college students/families. Rooms were very clean and spacious, and the bathroom was very uniquely designed with upscale shower and counter. Received a coupon for a FREE breakfast buffet b/c of my Priority Club status, which I greatly enjoyed.

The weekend I went to stay in this hotel, they were still deep into a major renovation with the dining room, lobby and many of the rooms dissasembled. If I'd known of all the work going on I probably would have gone elsewhere but I'd made my reservations over the internet. The pool, which is inside in a large open area is wonderful and the children had a great time. They love this pool and the one at the Cookeville Holiday Inn the best of all the indoor pools they've swam in and they want to go back. I had to argue with the staff to get the rate I'd reserved and the internet conection in my room didn't work. Hopefully, once the renovation is completed things will improve. I expect I'll go back to give it another try.
