Dirty
By Cindy, 07/03/08
Shower had hair in drain so water was slow going down. Floor was dirty, needed to stand on towel after showering to aviod dirty feet. Lights for city shined in room, no seperate bathroom light. However free valet parking was a plus!

Horrible Experience!
By Christie, 06/16/08
Stayed one night here on our way down to Florida for our honeymoon. When we went to check in, the attendant said she had no rooms left. We had reservations and they had apparently lost them. Said our credit card was declined and thats why they gave our room away. Staff was ridiculously clueless and unprofessional. Once a room suddenly came available we decided to stay. The room had a strong chemical smell. Overall, a horrible experience. Dont go.

Perfect
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/12/07
The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean slightly small, but ok for what we needed. We had a fourth floor room and had no problem with traffic noise. The non-smoking rooms were fine. We had a frig and microwave, which was nice. We used the convience store attached to hotel quite often and enjoyed the breakfast even though not a huge amount to pick from, but plenty for us. Better than having to go out and pay for breakfast. Location was a little walking distance from the honky-tonks but fine if you have no medical problems. Would rather walk than have to worry about who is going to be the D.D. for the evening. I would recommend this for a stay in Nashville, unless you are wanting a high class or expensive hotel.

Great motel and Price
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/05/07
We stayed here for our honeymoon in June and had a awesome time. The motel was super clean with the carpets being shampoo after each stay. We had a king size bed which was really comfortable with extra pillows. The only thing I disliked about the motel is the valet parking. Some of the drivers would drive the cars without any consideration. And when you needed your car you had to wait for them to move others out of the way. But other than this minor thing our stay was wonderful.

Don't walk barefoot
By pattee, 06/27/07
As all said in the past. Location is great but the walk up hill after walking all day in 94 degree weather is not something to look foward to. I loved it cause I was able to eat and drink what I wanted, and did not gain a Lb. Anyone out of shap or not able to get around very well is going to have a hard time. As far as the accommidations go, I was very disappointed for the amount of money I paid. I went the week before and during the 2007 CMA music festival. So I did expect an increase, but i can't stress enough how dirty my rooms were. I stayed in 2 different rooms. Both were supposed to be none smoking. It was the first thing you can smell. It is badly masked by a putred sweet and pungent cleaner or air spray that took my an entire week to try to simmer down. None of the air conditions worked ,the rooms were very hot. I am good at conserving energy, but had to keep the air on 24/7 just to feel 1 degree cooler when I walked in after climbing the hill. Don't walk bare foot. my friend took off her shoes and her new white socks were black! The carpets are so old and ragged and I don't think have ever been steam cleaned. only king size bed rooms had a fridge and microwave. Not that I wanted to eat in the smelly room but since there is no bar, and we saw roaches in the deli attatched to the lobby, we wanted to keep our own water and snacks in the room. Oh, you can not find the bathroom lights. The counter people were pleasant. Don't sit around waiting for anything you may need. I had USED bottles of shampoo. Never got un -used bottles. There is a safe in the room . that was the only good thing I could think of. Spent little time there. ONLY TO SHOWER AND SLEEP. I won't stay ther again unless they clean it up.

You get what you pay for
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/29/07
My husband and I stayed here for three nights. It was a business trip, but we had a lot of pleasure, too. We could not get in the driveway when we first arrived- cars were blocking the way. I guess the valet was backed up. This happened at least twice. It took awhile to check in- there was only one person there when we arrived. Another person came after about five minutes. We were told that they did not have a room ready and that we would have to wait. We did not have to wait that long- I think she gave us a non-smoking room (we requested smoking). My husband and I were waiting at the elevator (only one) when we heard an argument between the two people at the desk. It was not nice. The room looked okay, but the bed was very uncomfortable and the light in the bathroom area was not suitable. Someone at the desk called late that night and said that the woman who checked us in did not do it right so my husband had to go downstairs and take care of it. We came back to the hotel one night only to find that our key card did not work so we had to go to the front desk and get it fixed. There seemed to be one inconvenience after another. We would not stay here again.

Just ok
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/27/06
Front desk was very nice at check in, but when you needed something, they didn't respond very quickly. The room service was as other reviewers mentioned--unprofessional and poor. We, too, needed to ask for more towels. Our requests were always met with "in ten minutes." And then we'd have to call a second time. The location is pretty good, if you are in good shape. Yes, downtown is "down." The walk back to the hotel is mostly "up." The bathroom light was an issue also. If you get up in the middle of the night, plan on lighting up the whole room because you can't just light the toilet area. There are king beds now, so that was nice. No, I would not stay there again.

Our Nightmare in Nashville
By Leon, 08/30/06
We were very disappointed with our stay at the Best Western in Nashville. We stayed near the Gaylord Convention Center in room 505. The room smelled liked it was sprayed with a perfume to cover up an ordor. The floor was not vacuumed, the walls were dirty, the bathtub looked dirty, the toliet seat was loose, the sheets looked like they had body fluid stains also the pillowcases. The "fitted" bottom sheet kept coming off all night. We didn't complain figuring it would be changed in the morning, but to our disappoint- ment the same sheets were on the bed the second night. We slept with our shirts over the pillowcases. We didn't complain to the desk, because we left after the second night. (We were going to stay five nights, but couldn't stand the room. We like cleanliness and we don't usually complain but we just wanted you to know that this room needed attention. Thank You Leon and Percilla Flemmer Yakima, Washington

Unimpressed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/20/06
Very Pricey Hotel considering the location and lack of amenities. Costs were nearly $100 for 1 room for 1 night. There were 2 phones in the room. One had the cord ripped right out of the wall, the other simply had no dial tone. When I approached the front desk about this, the reply was "Well, did you call the Front Desk for assistance?" The room was supplied with a coffee maker, which I was excited about, however I was dissapointed to realize that the room had no coffee grounds or filters, so.....what's the point? We were also disturbed and imposed upon by Housekeeping not once, but twice within a period of 5 minutes. This was with more than 1 hour left before Check-Out time. So rude. Ultimately, I would never stay here again. Lots of luck Best Western.

Watch your credit card charges
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/13/06
Staff was generally slow, with the exception of valet parking attendants. The rooms only had outside entrances. Placed a second unauthorized hold on my credit card for one room. ($330 total). Did not accept or honor advertised 10% discount when mentioning CitySearch. Avoid this place at all costs.
