Budget Host Sundowner Motor Inn, Kadoka

The gentleman at the front desk, whose name was Eric was an absolute delight. He greeted us with a smile, good evening and how are you today. Very Sincere! It was after midnight when we arrived and you could not have asked for a more friendly gentleman than him. The room was very clean, wonderful breakfast, and the service was the best we have had in 20 years. Keep up the great work, and it is a so refreshing to see our young people with such a positive outlook on life, and such enjoyment in their careers.

If your just looking for a place to get you through the night, this will suffice, but just barely. The walls were so thin that I could hear what people were saying in the room next to ours. We also had a terrible time with the lock on our door, and the bed was far from cozy. There were only two things that I really liked about the place....It's a good location because it is right next door to the magnificent Badlands. That and I liked the lady at the front desk; I can't remember her name but she was really friendly. I should note that the town of Kadoka is not very impressive. We had to eat both our supper and breakfast at a Conoco Quickstop due to their lack of food services. On the other hand, if your looking to save some money, you will do just that if you decide to stay here.

We want to thank Eric for all his extra help during the time we were stranded in Kadoka. Your employer is very lucky to have you at the front desk. Your willingness to help in any way you can makes the Sundowner look good puts a great face on Kadoka.
