Lemmon Country Inn, Lemmon

I just recently stayed at the Lemmon Country Inn and was a "stayover" and my room was done each day during my stay! My room was clean and the service and front desk were excellent and very friendly and helpful! They recently did go to non-smoking which has made the hallways nicer to be in since our last stay last year! They have added fridges, microwaves, and flat screen tvs to all rooms!!!!!! This motel is under new ownership and management since last year and is such a better place to stay!

The Lemmon country Inn is one of the worst places I have ever been. I work on the road and stay in motels 11 month a year. We are "stay overs" and when I went to the front desk to inquire why our rooms were not made up I was told that they only service "stay over" rooms every other day. Also there are no smoking rooms. A policy put in place just before the sub zero tempratures hit South Dakota. It's a mile out of Lemmon, not close to any restraunts, or even convience stores, and there is a hall heater just outside my room that squeals and makes all sorts of noises all night.

The Lemmon Country Inn has undergone some very nice renovations. They have a new expanded breakfast area. The breakfast offered was typical of motels. Consisting of Hot cereal, cold cereal, toast, bagels, english muffins, Juice, Milk, and Coffee. The hotel did not smell of smoke, but does still offer some smoking rooms. The staff were friendly and knowlegable about area attractions. The prices were reasonable compared to the "new" motel in town. We will definately be back.

Great hotel. I've stayed here lots of times. It's quiet. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is a typical continental style. Donuts, bagels with cream cheese, english muffins, plenty of fresh coffee offered early in the morning for businessmen. The rates are reasonable considering what they carge in the cities. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

My brothers and I have stayed at the Country Inn for three years in a row while on hunting trips. We will stay there again. True, it's not big on frills--rooms don't have hairdryers or ironing boards, there's no pool or hot tub, and the breakfast is basic--and we have no problem with that. The owners are nice to us, the rooms are clean, and the price is fair.

The lobby was smoky, our room window was broken and held together with tape. The shower drain didn't work. The continental breakfast was a cannister of donuts, a loaf of bread, a jar of peanut butter. A Christmas decoration hung above the lobby window and this was in May. This is one of the few motels in the area. The other one in Lemmon looks even less inviting.

It was very nice, the rooms were nice, we could order pizza from the Powderhorn, which was really good. I would stay there again if we came by Lemmon again.
