Kings Inn, Belle Fourche

We were there during Sturgis week. Clean comfortable rooms, nice people. The bar on the property is nice and reasonable. Rates are decent and only a 25 minute trip to down town Sturgis.

This place is a dive. DIRTY, No toilet paper, towels, soap or cups. Do not stay at this place. It is terrible.

Great clean room,very nice tropical smell. Owner very friendly. Fast service. Restaurant fantastic. Be back .

I was exhausted and the big sign at tje edge of town said KIngs Inn restaurant, bar, reasonable rates. Just what I wanted, and road work made it difficult to move around the town. The restaraunt and bar were closed and the desk clerk was obnoxious with no apologies or suggestions and the room price was above market A Subway was open nearby, up a steep hill and accessible only from the other direction of travel. The bed was firm but felt like it was filled with stones. No clock in the room and desk clerk said no wakeup calls. A miserable experience.Office closed the next morning so there was no breakfast or anyone to commplain to. I travel and often stay in hotels and motels and this was the worst.

We had a reservation at this hotel and explained to the individual working that we would be arriving after the office closed at 10. He said it would not be a problem - we should call or ring the after hours bell and he would check us in. After two hours of ringing the bell and calling the hotel, we looked for another place. Everything was booked and we spent the night in the car. We called every 5 min untill 7:30. When we left at 7:30 there was not evidence that a single employee worked at this place. Thankfully we left before we wasted any money at this place because it is a dump. The "pool" was basically empty with a couple feet of sludge at the bottom and one guest left a note on their door saying the room was filthy, the towels had toothpaste on them from a previous guest and that their overall experince at this place was awful. The only redeeming quality that this place had was the free wifi that allowed us to find a better hotel for less money.

Overall bad experiance. Owner is a freak and a liar. Filthy and disgusting to say the least. Unless you would like your entire trip ruined, find a park bench...it would be better than staying here.

Wow...what a change! the rooms have all been remodeled and the motel is conveniently located next to fast food restaurants and grocery store. Boomba, the lounge on the same property is a very fun place to go. I would recommend to others. There is still no pool although it has been redone and should be up and running in 2009.
