Americas Best Inns Beaufort, Beaufort

My dad and I needed a hotel for one night for a fishing trip out of Beaufort. This motel had everything we needed- comfortable beds, a hot shower, and continental breakfast! I saw some poor reviews for this place before we booked the room, but there's nothing wrong with this place.

The Hotel was just right for me... Got what i asked for. House keeping came back after we left . It was clean and if i needed anything just asked for and delivered in 2 hours. If you want all the luxury of a 5 star Hotel book a 5 star hotel then and pay for it. If you just need a bed and shower go here.... If i come back ill go to this hotel again!! They where renovating the rooms when i was there so for those who had bad experiences... worth to try again ;)

Without a doubt the dirtiest room we have ever stayed in. Our confirmation paper indicated we asked for a king-size bed in a non-smoking room. We got 2 queens in a smoking room. The bathroom was unbelievably bad and the whole place looked like it had been painted by a blind man.

Location, location, location. The hotel is perfect for us. We go to the Water Festival every year in July. All we need is a bed, a shower and BK for breakfast (right next door). Employees are super nice and helpful. Rating on hopitality, they get a 10. Just wish they had a pool.

Tolerable...but definitely not worth the money. The desk clerk was nice and helped unscramble a mistake they made with our reservations. Bathroom was not very clean. Three light bulbs in the room were burned out.

Bathroom linoleum pulling up, showerhead dirty,modling pulling away. Would not clean room ,empty trash or make bed becauxe of a do not disturb sign up until 9am. Owner was called an refused to send someone to clean. Would never stay in anAmerica Bests Inn again

Likes: SOME of the rooms had refrigerators and microwaves. This was the ONLY plus! Dislikes: It looks like it was built in 1950 and remodeled in 1970. In one of our rooms, the swag chain on the lamp had dry rotted. The pictures were hung on the wall 1 inch from the ceiling. In another room, the wall had been busted through and sloppily repaired. It was an extremely uncomfortable place to stay. One of the commodes did not work, and in an attempt to contact the front desk to report this, it was discovered that the phone didn't work either! The sheets were filthy and we had to make a decision about which one was the least filthy before going to sleep. Camping out would have been a better experience! If you stay here, be sure to pack your Lysol.
