Punes Village, Myrtle Beach

We stayed here for about 18 years, after having tried many other places, and found it to be the best place on the beach. It was just the right size. (we hate big tall high rises) and the beach and pool was uncrowded, unlike most other places. Last year we stayed at the Dunes Village but did not like it quite as well. We are very saddened by the fact that the best place on the beach is no longer there and will probably be replaced by a building that's too big and an over-crowded beach area. Unfortunately, there seem to be no more great places left.
